PLANTERS Deluxe Unsalted Mixed Nuts, Party Snacks, Plant Based Protein, 15.25 oz Steel Can

This is the only product that has no salt, no peanuts, has an expiration date on the can, and is fresh. I had previously ordered from nuts.com (not a planters brand) and found no expiration date and rancid nuts, so I will never order from them again.

So glad planters came out with these unsalted Deluxe mixed nutts! We watch our health %26 enjoy the taste of the pure nutts, don't need all that salt, we don't want to snack on salt, we want delicious great quality nutts and these are it! Nice size. Great Value.

I am very salt sensitive. It causes water retention. I tried these as they are salt free. Very nice mix of nuts that I like. I have used them as a snack. The flavor is good. I use them in lettuce salads with fruit and I sprinkle some on my yogurt in the mornings with crunchy granola. Makes a healthy breakfast parfait. I have these on hand at all times. Great quality for the money.

Recently hospitalized and had to go on a low salt diet. Love salted nuts but decided to give these a try fully expecting not to like them. Was pleasantly surprised.

If you're like me and don't want salt on your nuts, these are your nuts. Even my dog likes them and he's a nut connoisseur. He also prefers his nuts salt-free or so I've gathered. The only problem I have is cashews are seeds, not nuts. Seeds should be salty.

Overall it's a good product. It's fresh, haven't seen or tasted any burnt, spoiled or bitterness. Most of the nuts are whole, there aren't many crumbs in the bottom. It smells like a container of nuts. They keep well. I haven't had to put mine in the fridge and have left them out on a shelf with the lid closed for more than two months with no issues. Only downfall is that it contains 75 percent almonds. The label should read "Almonds, with a side of mixed nuts". And it's also part of the skrimpflation nation.

I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of almonds, but this mix is still really good overall. The other nuts are fresh, crunchy, and flavorful even without salt, and it makes a solid low-sodium snack. We started buying these because my wife has high blood pressure and needs to watch sodium, and they've worked well for that. I usually pick around the almonds and still enjoy the rest, which says a lot. If you like mixed nuts and need an unsalted option, this is a good one.

I'm supposed to limit my salt, but totally unsalted nuts are tasteless. However, I gave it 3* instead of 1* because I can mix it into a vegetable or fruit salad and at least enjoy the salad while getting the benefit of the nuts. Next time I'll order lightly salted nuts.

Good tasting nuts, although more cashews and almonds than anything. Brazil nuts come in next for quantity, then pistachios, then pecans. My can barely had pecans, basically small and broken pieces, not even halves. Pretty high price for an uneven amount of nuts.

Usually about a "3" for flavor. This time they seemed spoiled despite the long sell-by date. Maybe a bad batch, but will not be buying again. Too bad, because it is difficult to find unsalted mixed nuts made without cottonseed oil. I ended up smashing them into small pieces and putting them in the bird feeder, so I did not request a refund. (AFAIK none of the birds died.)
