Sun-Maid California Sun-Dried Raisins, 32 oz Resealable Bag

I especially like the zip lock fresh seal bag. Unlike boxed raisins that have to be eaten right away once opened, the fresh seal bag stays fresh for a very long time in the cupboard, especially when double-sealed in a zip lock back. Air is the enemy after all, so be sure to "burp" the excess air out of both bags before storing the raisins in a cool, dark cupboard. Can't eat a potato, green peas, or a sweet potato? Have some raisins! They not only have a lot antioxidants, but they are also high in potassium!

Raisins are moist and sweet, a healthy snack and even better when combined with peanuts or other nuts. Ziploc packaging is better than the usual cardboard container with plastic lid, which didn't prevent raisins from drying out over time. Walmart's pricing is better than regular supermarkets.

This item used to be carried in their stores, but no longer. So, now, I have to order. Only the smaller packages remain in the store, and they are not large, plump and soft as the product in the 32oz bag. And, it's the same price the store had been charging. Worth the extra effort to order on-line.

I've had these several times and the raisins are always plump and tasty with not too many stems. Problem is the the zip lock resealing strip is not very good. You have to stop, peer into the bag and align things and then hope for the best I've considered just transferring the raisins to a freezer bag

Since childhood! My grandmother would have the small/individual boxes for us kids as a treat when staying over. To this day, I continue to purchase them....Great to top off cereals with low sugar content like Cheerios or Corn Flakes; even Life cereal Quaker; and my favorite hot cereal, Quaker Oatmeal: raisins and cinnamon!

MY GRANDS LIKE THE BRAND. IT HAS BEEN AROUND IN OUR FAMILY SINCE IT WAS STARTED 1950':-) BUT I BELIEVE THE 32 OZ BAG IS TOO LARGE UNLESS YOU BAKE ALOT. CHILDREN LOVE THEM AND WILL ALL BE RUNNING TO THE BATHROOM. O MY! OTHER THAN THE SIZE IF THE 32 OZ BAG ISSUE. IT IS STILL THE BEST ON MARKET. THANK YOU ALL FOR SAME QUALITY ALL THESE YEARS. Taste is superb. I only give it three stars because of the packaging. The "resealable" feature is flawed. I have bought it in this format 4 or 5 times, and the "zipper" never re-seals once open. I am going to switch back to the Sunmaid raisins in the (slightly more expensive) cardboard package with the snap-on lid.

It's getting to the point where half the time I receive dry gritty raisins or plump juicy ones. I spend a lot of money on raisins for the cat birds, robins and crows in my yard. I purchased the store brand before and they were sour. But this company has to step it up a bit because for $7 a bag I should be receiving a more consistent product. I might as well go back and take a chance with the generic again. This weeks bag was just gross.

I put in an order for 10 ea. 32 oz. bags of Sun Maid raisins with Walmart to be delivered the next day as a gift. What the party received was no raisins, but instead 2 ea. 12 oz. bags of dried cranberries. Since I didn't order any cranberries I called Walmart and request a refund for the Cranberries since they were not what I ordered. I did receive a refund. I was told that the raisins I ordered from Walmart were not in stock. Why not just send me a text or email to let me know they were unavailable instead of trying to substitute 2 bags of cranberries?

Used this for years but recent purchases are going in the trash because they have changed the formula. It tastes more like toxic waste with a wintergreen flavor than anything near peppermint!! Not only does it taste like trash when using it before brushing, toothpaste doesn't remove the nasty taste either. You wake up with horrible breath and a rancid mouth. I'll be calling Colgate to complain and will be switching brands! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT
