Cuts well shaped, thin slices. The fun part is when you flip the bottom under to do the last, complete cut and find you didn't slice a wedge of fingernail or thumb trying to push the last bit of apple through. Yea!
It's wonderful that you don't need to worry about cutting your fingers in the blades. And the 16 small slices are fabulous.
I learned about this improved apple slicer from a family member, and knew I had to have one. Love the thin slices it makes, and that the apple core is easily separated. I've just ordered a second one for my workplace!
Best apple slicer--makes 16 slender slices that are perfect for a snack or entertaining. Like how when you close the blade cover, it pushes all slices
Best apple slicer ever! We have been through a few, and this one is the best. It cuts thinner slices, it is very sturdy and the little bottom piece makes getting all the way through the apple a breeze. With our other apple slicers, I would just prefer to cut the apples by hand with a paring knife. I could do a better job faster. But this thing is great! I definitely prefer this to cutting by hand.
I love the smaller wedges.
This is the 2nd slicer of this type I've owned. Love them, always slices fruits and veggie the first time.
I love this item.. I am on a special diet for health reasons.. this makes 16 small slices of a small apple having the illusion I am eating more.. I find this easy to use.. Again, I love this item and recommend it to everyone.
love it, but because of the larger number of slices, if you have a tough skinned apple it is really hard to push it through. I absolutely love the base that pushes the bottom through.
Do not buy this product unless you want bruised apple slices. It did not make clean cuts at all. When I tried to get a refund, I was given the run around.
