The Raid Max liquid ant bait works fantastic! I put one on my porch for carpenter ants and the very next day I had dead ants EVERYWHERE. The next day even more dead ants. I also put one in a bedroom, my pantry and my kitchen and haven't seen an ant since. I buy this every year at this time and with the very best results every time. I can't speak on any other types of ants but on carpenter ants it always goes above and beyond expectations! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! : )

Like a miniature urinal cake, it does work -
As long as these Bait Traps are fresh and stored in a cool location, they seem to be quite effective in handling large swarms. Several ants will be found dead inside the trap, but many more survive long enough to carry the substance back to their nest -- noticeably slowing down or stopping infestations...

Interior bait works well but…
Smaller ants do not go into semi-closed products. This brand, the packaging part that sits on counter/ledge they were more likely to enter. Yet I still ended up cutting packaging and setting sponge like interior on counter. I wouldn't do same if younger kids or cats in home. Brands that the interior was small, round, hard material, ants not attracted to. For the circumstances, better off getting product that you put droplets directly on surface.

Ant killer
I have bought several brands of ant traps but found this particular trap did not draw the ants to them as well as the Terro. I left them out a few days but only trapped and killed a few ants. I don't plan to buy this brand of trap again. There is other brands that work better .

Not effective
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The ants ignored them for the most part. They are also too potent they kill ants almost instantly, which cause the others to be on alert. They tend to dry up pretty fast once opened.
