I see this spice in so many Indian cooking videos so I decided to buy it too. It tasted a little like cayenne pepper and has a mild to medium heat. The color is the real star, it's such a nice vibrant red that adds an appetizing color to any savory dish, Indian or not

I purchased this as I like to make a curry here and there. Chicken, shrimp, or chickpea. Sometimes even some crispy tofu. This is a very good product, also tremendously useful for marinades. You want the real deal when preparing Indian etc dishes. This was a very large jar so I shared half with a relative. Beautiful color as well.

To me this chili smells exactly like cayenne, however, it doesn't pack the heat punch that cayenne does. This is beneficial to me because my husband can't take cayenne's heat level. It's very flavorful, I'll be using it a lot!

Don't pay attention to the label "Low heat". This Kashmiri powder is spicier than cayenne. I'm using maybe half a teaspoon in a small pot of dal, or whole eggplant worth of baingan bharta.

I just use in when I need to add a little heat to something I'm eating. I don't add it until after it's cooked. It's not super hot so it's hard to add too much.

I have recently been making homemade butter chicken. Until now I have been using American chili powder. I found the best deal on Walmart for volume and price and ordered this chili powders. I made butter chicken as soon as it arrived and my husband agreed - upgrade!! The only issue was dented corners of the package but that's on the shipper and their bag packaging. I will have plenty of this for a long time. Taste is great and not spicy at all

never heard of this brand before, but browsing through Walmart.com.. it piqued my interest in the brand product and it was not disappointed at all, very nice product and made my chicken and fish taste even better than before.. definitely recommend it to anyone and will definitely buy more… thanks you Walmart for carrying this stuff on your website!!!

Tastes great! Way cheaper than any of my local products.

The flavor is very good, but it is also muted a bit. I had to use 2-3x more than my recipe called for. It's probably just me/my taste buds, I like a lot of flavor. It was certainly worth the money and very good.

I placed an order for the MILD. Instead, I received the EXTRA HOT. I contacted Walmart and they were little to NO HELP. No exchange, No refund. Even after telling them that I don't drive, that's why I shop online. They said to bring it to Walmart (a 50-mile trip) It sits on my counter to this day
