Great for camping, very heavy duty and was able to handle the various things I cooked in it.

Very heavy cast iron that's reasonably well finished. The handle was bent by FedEx, but it bent back easily enough. Makes a good sandwich.

This pie iron is a heavy duty piece of equipment. I haven't used it yet, but I had one like this a few years back that I gave to my niece. This iron will last for many years and I do plan on buying a few more.

This is a solid, cast iron pie iron. It is quite heavy, however, so be aware of that if you are considering buying one. This iron should last for years, as it appears to be well built. The iron comes apart for easy cleaning and each handle has a nice individual wooden grip. The clasp that holds the handles together is sturdy and does not slide down the handles. Having had pie irons in the past, these are the features that are important. I would recommend this pie iron, but be prepared for its weight.

Great purchase for camping!! Works great...so much better than the cheaper ones I got. The bread doesn't stick to this one like it did with the cheaper ones.

I was sent the wrong brand of pie iron. I purchased the Rome double pie iron, and I received the Coughlin brand. I paid more for the one and received a cheaper one. One that I did not order.
