I love these beans when I'm too lazy to make my own. They have a great flavor of good texture and make taco night very easy for our family. I had my own spices, salt, pepper, and a little bit of water to make these the perfect side for our meals
OK, sorry for the corny headline, but if you like refried beans for Mexican food (burritos, tacos, tostadas, etc.), these are delicious and go great with cheese, lettuce, salsa, guacamole....whatever you like to add to your meals! They're good alone as well.
I'm not the refried beans expert but these seem nearly perfect. Bought some flour & some wheat tortilla's, add some garlic, heat things up in a cup in the microwave and instantly spoon on to have bean burritos' with minor cleanup.
Love this beans
Great value, tasty, convenient for bean dip and homemade tostada.
I love these refried beans but didn't realize I was ordering such large cans. Yikes! So I packed up individual portions
I've purchased these for years, at least a decade. Out of the can, they're usually pretty solid. This time, they were pretty runny with a weird texture... like cat food. Expiration is okay, a year and a half from now. They're cooking, but I'm skeptical about eating them. If we all get sick, it'll be these beans.
Way to salty.
Both cans as severely dented - I want a refund
I buy these beans all the time. Usually they're OK but this time there was a lot of liquid in with the beans! Never saw that before dump the liquid and made the beans up even added cheese. And there's still very loose beans. I'm hoping this is just a one time thing, I will try it one more time. If this keeps up, then they're going cheap and putting liquid in and less beans and I will not buy them again.
