these are fantastic. my son has to take his lunch to work because he works nights. these are wonderful because you can put anything in them like spaghetti and it does not stain your bowl. not only that but also you can raise the Locking tabs in the events the bow so you can leave the lid on and heat it. I've got several of these now and I'm extremely please.
I love that fact that you can put liquid in this and if it get bumped or tipped over, it doesn't leak at all. The seals stand up even after many dishwasher runs. I have had them for many years and went back and purchased the same ones as they don't stain or put off the bad plastics.
These are my go-to containers for storing refrigerated and dry goods. I love that they do not retain odors from what was stored in them previously. The seal on the lids are tight but not hard to remove, even if you have arthritic hands. I do all my dishes by hand and these are easy to clean, dry quickly and stack nicely. I store mine with the lids in a drawer, but they also stack perfectly with the lids on. I have been stocking up on different sizes when they go on sale, and soon all my flour, sugar and other dry goods will be stored in these. That's how much I love using them.
Don't be fulled by the more expensive food storage containers out there. Rubbermaid's Brilliance is a quality product with a great look. Further, I bought mine at an affordable price online. I've used mine in the freezer, refrigerator, and to take my lunch in. The lids seem to have a great seal, which is important to me. I've always used Tupperware, but as I was looking for new storage containers to replace mine, I was shocked at how expensive Tupperware is now. Even on eBay, the prices for used Tupperware pieces are outrageously priced. I only wash them in the top drawer of the dishwasher.
I really like these food storage containers! They are clear so you can see what is in them, the wash clean without stains and they seal sooo well. in fact, sometimes they seal a little too well and I can have trouble getting the lid off. But they don't leak!
The seal on this is amazing. Lid can be switched between plastic and glass of same brand. Easy to clean in the sink or top rack of dishwasher (which is a plus)!
You can clearly see what is stored inside. It is easily cleaned and dishwasher safe. Goes from freezer to microwave which means it's versatile and durable.
Brilliant ! No more popping lids in your fridge to view what's inside , only to discover that leftover casserole is no longer edible. They're easy to store and perhaps such beauty deserve their own cupboard.I myself treat every piece like crystal ; however because they are not and can crack perhaps may be a wee bit pricey.
The lid of one of the two containers was scratched and had a small crack. I did not want to bother returning it so I kept it. I've bought these containers before and they are very useful, light and clear. However, the lids are sometimes hard to remove.
I did not order this product and it was substituted for a 20 piece airtight containers that I did order. I believe that the shopper was in a big hurry and that he just grabbed whatever was next to it or convenient or whatever. I mean how is one piece of Tupperware substituted for an entire 20 plus set of airtight containers?? This substituted item was was made of the material that if you dropped it, it would crack, and for the price of $15 that would be something that I would never order, especially for that price! I guess I can say that the seal was excellent, but it was so good that I have a really tough time getting it to open.
