Sauder Heritage Hill 2 Drawer Lateral File Cabinet, Classic Cherry Finish

Instructions were good, all parts were included, and pieces went together well. Once assembled, it's what I needed for my files. I would buy it again. It's a nice piece of furniture that doesn't need to hide in a closet or back room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

LOOKS GREAT. HEAVY AS THE DEVIL. WISH THE EDGES AND DIVIDER WERE MORE STURDY THAN PLASTIC. HOPE IT HOLDS UP.

Not furniture, but a great product. Well designed and exceptional packaging, VERY heavy. Quality manufacturing and all parts fit. Directions are good but, go slow and watch the on-line videos to avoid mistakes. 3 hours to assemble.

I am so pleased with this! Its a great value for the money ! It was shipped to my door ( heavy - I didn't have to lift) . Not super easy to put together but doable ! ( and I am a woman) . Best part , it actually blends right in with my 1940's desk and bookcase . The color is spot on and the hardware is dark burnished enough to pass. PLEASE as punch !

Pros: beautiful piece, gorgeous in the space, bigger than expected- Cons: one piece of hardware was damaged during manufacturing so I had to order a replacement, this thing was a beast to assemble DO NOT attempt this if you have little to no experience assembling furniture (I am semi pro and it took me almost 7 hours because the track lining hardware is tricky and the pieces are heavy), top banner piece is more flimsy than it should be for the piece. Overall: Satisfied and would purchase again.

The aesthetic traditional cabinet look is most appealing and functional in an office or home setting. Very attractive two drawer file. However the instructions for DIY assembly could be improved.

Ordering online was not easy to get questions answered. Having two supplier , one for the file and one for the assembly. When I called numbers provided, all were automated and I could never get to live person. Once I painfully figured it all out and the Pro arrived for assembly, everything went very well.

My husband and I spent two afternoons trying to assemble this filing chest without success. The twist lock attachments were faulty and could not line up with the holes which were also a bit off. We were concerned that if we did manage to get it together, it would not be sturdy with daily use. In contacting the Sauder Company customer service, it was decided to send out more twist lock attachments which may take time to arrive. We keep hopeful as from the outside, it's an attractive piece of furniture.

Used pledge to polish after we put together and the paper towel came out pink! Poor finish obviously

It's a piece of junk. Spent two days assembling this file cabinet and when I was done the drawers didn't fit and they overlapped. The guides were too wide for the drawers to slide in and a piece of the glide broke and spilled many small ball bearings all over the floor.
