The helmet doesn't obstruct vision, and fits my head very well, though it sits a bit high. The sun visor/shield works well, though I highly recommend sunglasses or tinted safety goggles for those very sunny days. I even like the color! Schwinn, is a name that speaks of quality over many decades, and that's why I ended up buying this particular helmet.

My son has loved this helmet for mountain biking. It has better coverage than your average bike helmet and I like how it goes further down the back of his head to protect him from crashes.
