Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum, Pet Friendly, 50 Min Run Time, IZ840H Rose Gold

I purchased the Shark Stratos model number IZ840H at the end of January, 2026. I am very happy with it and it does what it exactly says: It magically pulls long hair up from the carpet and sends it up to the upper canister without leaving any hair on the double rollers at the bottom. I am truly amazed at how well it does. I highly recommend. As a side note the only accessory it comes with is a small crevice tool, which is fine for small areas, but I needed a tool with a brush for dusting with about a 4" length. It's very tough to find accessories to fit this model. After several hours of searching all the usual places, including shark ninja, I found an eBay listing for: "Shark Anti-Allergen Dust Brush And Crevice Tool Vacuum Attachment IZ400 IZ500". All the adaptors looked like my original hook up on the crevice tool, so I took a chance and ordered two wants for $29.95 which included free shipping. I am so happy to have had the luck to find what I wanted on eBay. I love that this Shark Statos, model IZ840H is cordless and the suction is fantastic and absolutely no problems with the battery. If you need a vacuum that doesn't tangle up the rollers with hair, this is the one to buy. Many other vacuums out there say "anti-tangle" but many of them do not live up to their advertising. I returned an off brand that cost half of the one I purchased from Walmart, after using it for only one minute -- and what do you know. Lots of hair wrapped around the rollers. In this case you get what you pay for. Don't forget to look for accessories IZ400 and 500 (they are hard to find) just make sure you look at the attachment components to make sure the seller is offering what you want.

I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks now and it is, by far, the best vacuum cleaner for hard floors I've found yet! I am so happy with this cleaner. I also use a robot vacuum (by a high quality name brand) that goes over my floor and rugs. I can go behind it with this and it pulls up even more! We live on a dirt road with kids and pets, and I haven't found any issues with it yet. I also love how compact it is for storing!

This vacuum is WONDERFUL!! I love Shark, I have the Navigator, but that gets heavy carrying it up and down the stairs. The Shark Stratos is light weight and picks up EVERYTHING!! Easy to assemble, and a pleasure to use. I absolutely love it! If your looking for a vacuum that picks everything up the first time, look no further, the Shark Stratos does it all!!

This cordless vacuum is so easy to use and store, my house is much cleaner now! I can do a quick vacuum in just minutes, so end up vacuuming much more often. Spot clean-ups are a cinch. I loved it so much I bought a second one to have one by-the-ready on each floor of the house.

This vacuum is a beast of three dogs. And you can't find very much pet hair. Suction power is amazing and the fact that there's roller bars instead of a bunch of bristles to get a bunch of hair, stuck in is amazing no bristles.. I can't recommend this vacuum enough if you have animals inside. And absolute game change

Love this vacuum! It actually has the power to suck the gunk of from between our 100 year old floorboards and gets all the dog hair that sits up close to the walls. I love all the features and it's quiet compared to our full size hoover. With an extra battery, purchased for about $40 on Amazon, it has plenty of run time to clean the whole house. So glad I bought this!

I read the Costco reviews for “same” product and was told to buy elsewhere because of quality issues there. I read the reviews at Walmart and one said to “run grab this vacuum “. That's what I did. Takes a couple minutes to figure it all out but I'm glad I “ran” and grabbed it! I'm very, very happy with this Shark!

I found it to be heavy and more than a little cumbersome to manage on the stairs. The run time was impressive but the sensors were annoyingly irresponsive for my liking. High maintenance, It fills fast, has strong suction for some time. Takes awhile to charge.

I decided to trial the shark to compare it to the Dyson, while it functions basically the same with the large head and I agree it handles better for under the furniture with its bendable arm, it severely lacks in several areas: 1) the vacuum head is just slightly too big for smaller tighter underneath areas like a low profile couch where a dyson could probably get to; 2) minimal attachments provided with this dyson version; 3) no hangable charging port; 4) if you try to buy any other attachment like a smaller brush head for cleaning pet dander on furniture, good luck trying to find a compatible head. I've bought 2 other shark heads that said they were supposed to be compatible with my Shark and they're NOT! This has been the worst high cost investment I've made with cleaning products, and I'll be going back to Dysons.

Absolutely not for pet hair on carpets, the hair gets clogged between the two brush rolls on the plastic piece, I spend more time removing it than vacuuming! The motor after about 7 months is starting to go out I'm pretty sure. It has gotten so loud and squeals like a jet taking off. I'm sure it would be fine for hardwood simple dirt but do not buy if you want it for pet hair on carpets!
