what a wonderful little machine! i saw someone commenting about this on some social site and it seemed like what i needed. i ordered it and i love it!! true, it's not for the huge house, but how many people that have those huge houses are doing their own cleaning anyway? it is SO easy to pick it up when i spot some offending thing lurking and it picks up everything. not the hassle of undoing the small part of the bigger machines just so you can get to some corner. and voilá, when it is returned to the stand it sucks all the junk away - except a wasp that was clinging on until it kicked the bucket, then it was whisked away. i have issues with lifting the supposed smaller breakaway part of the big vacuums that say they are for cleaning higher spots. i tried to find the weight of just the wand but couldn't, so for anyone looking, it's under 5 pounds. in the picture i am holding it up with 1 hand.

Love the vacuum, but the attachments that is added to the handheld. Gets stuck and are almost impossible to remove,

The vacuum it self I love , but it's not self emptying . Hopefully it's something I'm doing wrong and it a quick fix. Other than that I love the fact you can just throw it back on charger and ready for next use

shark definitely let me down on this one i absolutely love sharks products but i definitely wouldn't recommend this it has very poor quality loses suction fast i i clean it every time to make sure nothing is stuck in the filters i ened up going back to my old vacuum as this one is definitely not worth the hype

Very disappointed in this and wish I could return it as I will be needing to purchase a new vacuum to do what I had hoped this one would do. We purchased this vacuum less than 6 months ago and use it about every other day. We have 5 pets and do not wear shoes in our house. Pros: It picks up dirt and pet hair in 1 pass on hard floors. It's easy to maneuver and gets in hard to reach places. Cons: short battery lift. Useless on carpet. It does alright on rugs. When using the wand function, the suction is non existent and it blows more debris around than it even picks up. And lastly, most importantly, pet hair and dirt clog everywhere and is not accessible to even clean it out. — to elaborate on this, pet hair doesn't get twisted in the roller but instead it gets clogged on the ends of the roller, the tiny wheels on the bottom and on the inside edges. This began happening almost immediately after the first use. All this to say, we can't take apart the vacuum to clean this out so I can only imagine how much worse it will get before it quits working altogether.

Before you buy please understand this is not the normal suction quality which Shark uprights have. The suction is very low on area rugs. This unit is just for bare floors. I was so disappointed with this I returned it the next day.

I ordered this because I have several Shark products that I love, and the self-emptying feature seemed like a game changer for our household. With our current vacuum cleaner, my husband almost never remembers to empty the canister after he’s done using it, so when I use it, I have to empty it before I can even start cleaning. See how that could be a problem?I saw the ad for this vacuum cleaner on tv, and ordered it right away. Getting this WandVac set up was super easy. It’s very sleek and modern looking, too. It charged pretty quickly, and then I finally got to use it. I was SO disappointed. My first observation was that the tiny canister on the vacuum itself seemed way too small to clean more than my living room rug. I proceeded to vacuum and noticed the battery was dying super fast. We have a small house (just under 1000 sq ft), but I managed to vacuum the entire place right before the battery died (it was about 10 minutes). To my surprise, the debris canister wasn’t even full! When I set the vacuum cleaner on the self-emptying “dock”, it was pure magic. Everything I expected it to be! I got my other vacuum cleaner out and went over the living room rug and got SO MUCH more debris. I concluded at that point this “life changing” gadget was not going to be a part of my life. To the vacuum cleaner’s defense, we do have 4 indoor cats, so it needs to be able to pick up fur without issue. We vacuum and sweep every day, so there’s never a huge accumulation of fur, litter, etc. This machine isn’t advertised as a “Pet Hair Vacuum”, so there’s that. I can see how it could be useful for someone else, but I returned it.

I am mostly hardwood floors with rugs over part of it, and although it cleans dirt out of my rugs, it does not clean the dog hair off of the rugs. Horrible! Waste of money. The canister in the vacuum is so small and clogs easily. The canister (bigger one) in the self emptying component is about the size of a regular shark vacuum. The “holes” are so small that they all clog constantly. I have zero carpet so only using on hard wood floors and still only picking up the very small stuff bc the front sits so low to the ground, otherwise just pushes it across the floor. I have dogs and most sharks can handle the hair fine. This can't. This is for VERY small messes. The filters are junk and very small so they clog too. There is so much dirt that gets in them that they need cleaned at least weekly, which defeats the purpose of the canister if dust is flying around cleaning out the filters constantly. I've never been more disappointed in a product, especially for the high price!

They shipped me a used vacuum cleaner. The head was full of dust and it was clearly used. Never shopping at Walmart again. How do they think they can get away with passing used items off as new? This is simple stuff. You don’t do this and expect to have repeat business.
