I was very excited to gift it to my grandson for his birthday. Easy to use. I think it is a very educational toy to intrigue exploration into electronics.

My son absolutely loves doing the snap circuits, and he asked for his own set. I was pleased to find this set, which is beyond the basic one, and at a great price. It says it is for ages 8 , but with an active parent helping out, age really is not a problem (my son is 6). It is cool to be able to build interactive circuits, and the snap-format is way better than the springs and wires I had growing up!

We have been buying snap circuits sets for years. They are so versatile! We own at least four sets now, and our son combines them to create new and more complex designs. Highly recommend!

Our son (7 years old) loved his kit and started working on the projects right away. The instructions (project catalog) are pretty self-explanatory and abundant enough to keep him busy for awhile.

My son can build so many functional things it is hard to call this a toy! He lives science and this is just building that fascination!

I purchased this for my 10 year old grandson as a Xmas gift, as he stated a friend had a similar one. Upon opening this gift the excitement started and he immediatley wanted to build. This set kept him running back and forth for 3 straight hours showing us all the different projects he completed. There were a couple times when he would appear disappointed , asking why it didn't work only to figure out the wrong resister was used. I would definately recommend this for children that show interest in circuitry and producing things that work and make sound. Definately worth the money with hopes it leads to a deeper interest in electronics.
