I really like that this isn't a veg capsule, but it smells fishy and had that odor as soon as it was opened, even though it's a fresh product. I have no idea what makes it smell that way. I'm not sure if I just got a bad one or what, but I wouldn't repurchase because of that issue. It just doesn't seem right. Other Solaray products have been great, though, so I'm not judging the company based on this. I just can't recommend it because I'm not sure if it's safe to consume based on the very weird smell from something typically so benign.
