This works! As a medically-trained professional, I am skeptical of many vitamins and supplements that exceed the FDA RDA (recommended daily allowance), but when my doctor prescribed 50,000 IU per week of vitamin D3, I compared the price of the prescription to that of this Walmart product, and - even with my insurance - the prescription cost more than this product. More importantly - IT WORKED! Pre-vitamin D3 I was at 27 (slightly low out of range), but now it is 104 (slightly high out of range), after 6 months of taking 50,000 IU of this over-the-counter vitamin.

great for bones, antioxidants, immune defense, easy to swallow! facts: taking at least 10,000 I.U. daily helps lower cortisol that collects in fat cells when highly stressed, besides all the many good health this brings with good healthy eating habits. my experience was I lost a lb of weight every other day, totaling 35 lbs weight loss in about 5 months last year, with a lean, healthy protein diet. I couldn't lose more than 4 lbs until I added 10,000 I.U. of D3 daily after learning about the cortisol that settles in fat cells, and how this much D3 helps lower cortisol WOW!! my nerves calmed down, strength and energy and endurance I didn't have before! I noticed a significant difference in 1 week!

Everyone should take this for immunity unless of course you have too much vitamin D in your system. Check with your doctor first, but I take one a day and haven't been sick in years.

I like the Sun Valley brand because they are affordable, available and I've been taking them for a few years now. When I can't find this brand, other brands just haven't gave me that same feeling that I get when I after I take this vitamin.

The body functions better with the right vitamins. Can't say for sure the ingredients are what they say they are so I just have to trust they are good.

My daughter calls it the sunshine pill. It's easy and convenient easy to swallow. No taste, and gives me the vitamin D that I need. My levels are always in check when I have lab work done. Great product great value!

What do I know. Do they work, who knows. I take em cause my doctor said I needed them. It is what it is . We'll see what the results are next doctor visit

I'm totally surprised that there wasn't a seal on the bottle. Not a plastic one covering the lid , but also , there wasn't an aluminum/paper seal under the lid . Nothing was sealed. Anyone could have tampered with this product. It's been years since not seeing seal of any type was acceptable. I will not use these Spring Valley Vitamin D3 supplements. This is unacceptable.
