My eye doctor says to take 2000 mg daily of Vitamin C. Because its the best antioxidant. And my eyes need antioxidants to fight the risk of infections. The bottle's cap was broken - as in a piece was broken off of it. It did not happen when shipped as the broken piece was not inside the packaging with the bottle. Someone took a broken bottle and placed it in the box. The bottle was still sealed so I kept it. It was however annoying having to find a bottle big enough for this.
