they hold an edge for longer use and to does wear out as quickly as the less expensive blades do
Good value
Excellent quality blades, in a safe, sturdy, easy to dispense container, and they lightly oil-coat individual blades so they wont deteriorate like ordinary paper wrapped single edge blades.
Stanley utility blades have always been something I could trust, and they haven't disappointed me yet. I deal with various sizes of cardboard boxes every day; opening them, cutting them down for the recycle bin, customizing the size, etc. It doesn't take long to dull a blade when you're cutting into that much cardboard. And as many already know a dull blade is more dangerous than a sharp blade. My coworkers have said that it's kind of like watching a Ninja with a machete. For this reason, I need to keep a steady supply of new blades on hand, and I need a brand that I can trust. That's why I rely on Stanley utility blades.
Excellent blades. I always buy this brand.........Stanley.
I help my neighbor do period home upgrades/improvements. I am constantly using a utility knife to cut black paper, score dry wall, cut tie wraps for lumber bundles, open boxes etc. I was constantly replacing the blades to maintain a good cutting edge. That is until I decided to try Stanely blades. What a life changer. Yes, I am still doing all the tasks I did before, except for the constant blade changes on my knife. One man's opinion: I think these blades hold their edge much better than the blades I used previously. Do yourself a favor, although the Stanley blade pack is a little more money than other brands, they will save you alot time not changing blades so often and maintaining a sharper edge a lot longer. The only blade I use now!!!
i bought these about a month ago. went to use them today and threw them away because the blades are all rusted together. I was unable to dispense a single blade so i tore the sliding cover off the package. i was unable to seperate blades and cut my finger trying to do so with a screwdriver i think problem was caused by sitting in a warehouse too long
Cannot remove blades from dispenser. You're supposed to slide them out with your finger, but my finger slips on the blade. Tried cleaning the blade. No go. Tried to use non-slip materials. No go. I read on their website comments that folks resorted to breaking the case open. Don't buy unless you are Houdini.
The price was good however the razor blades were old or something caused them all to be a solid chunk i had to take a blade and seperate the rest
Stanley the video is for TOP dispensing 11-921 or the 11-921A which are DIFFERENT from the BOTTOM dispensing 11-921AS. Before replying, please find in your catalog both the 11-921(A) AND 11-921AS 100 blade packs and compare the models; it will become apparent the difference. I have looked at multiple hardware stores and all i can find is the 11-921-AS, this design hinders getting work done on site. Until this is fixed NO MORE STANLEY BLADES for me.
