It was a good Canteen but it wasn't clear if you can use soda or other soft drinks and exploded with 1 minute of a drink.

Basic canteen
I'm not sure what the standard is for canteens, but I was a little disappointed. It's lightweight, which is both good and bad. It's easier to carry, but it feels very flimsy and like it will dent easily. The strap is convenient. It is okay for light use, but I would recommend something better quality if you expect to use it a lot or use it in rugged conditions.

The Quality Barely Holds Water
I had looked at images of this canteen before I purchased it and wondered why the used ones always looked so beat up. Now I know. The aluminum is not that much thicker than that of an aluminum beverage can, and it was easily dented when I just put slight pressure on the canteen with my thumb. It'll never hold up to the rugged hiking that I do. I guess you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a canteen, look elsewhere and take a pass on this one.

always thought that the old fashion canteen would be the best Boy was I wrong very first time out hiking one bumped on rock while walking leeked was empty before we got to the end of trail....Cheap made
