Swanson Saw Palmetto - Maximum Strength 320 mg 60 Softgels

It is too early for me to tell. I am using it for my thinning hair so i just started that regime. However, I can give you a review for my husband who had been using it for prostate health for over 30 years. (from swanson) At 80 years old, his prostate was normal size and was free of any prostate issues. I will let you know if and when i have any results with my regime for thinning hair.

I've tried the unrefined capsules with no luck. I then found the concentrated version. The 160 strength didn't do it. The 320 strength does it well. I take 1 in the morning and one in the evening. I can really tell when I don't take them. I make sure I never run out. I keep an extra 3 month supply on hand because sometimes when I order they are out. These really work for me so I don't want to run out.

I have not been taking this one very long so I haven't noticed much of a difference. The pills seem to be of good quality but I can't rate the effectiveness of the product just yet.

Ok I have went back and forth several times, have researched this standardized version of this herb verses the Swanson's non. I have to say that I find Swanson's 540 mg of the whole saw palmetto is more effective. I may in the future go back to this one but probably not.

Saw Palmetto Full Herb doesn't do anything for anybody except make the manufacturer rich. The herb that shrink's your prostate is Saw Palmetto 'Berry' It's only the berry that shrinks it. Be sure to get Saw Palmetto Berry not Saw Palmetto Berry Full Herb.
