It's the only sweetener I'll use, including other stevia leaf brands, hands down. It's even good sprinkled on fresh berries, oatmeal %26 other foods - even in iced tea. It really tastes like sugar. When adding to drinks, I add a little at a time, taking a sip in between, because too much doesn't taste good. Note: When following SweetLeaf recipes calling for this or SweetLeaf Baking Blend, I generally cut the amount in half - the recipe amounts are too much, bringing about a sickening taste. Oddly, I've not noticed this sprinkling it directly on berries %26 cooked oatmeal - it tastes like real sugar, with no weird taste.
My husband loves this in his coffee. It's the only one he will use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been using this product for years. I've always been satisfied with not only the SweetLeaf, but the prompt delivery and always just what I ordered.
EXCELLENT TASTE, HEALTHY POSITIVE PRODUCT! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love it. Your store delivers top quality fresh products. I use the powder form for my coffee and the liquid for my tea. Thankyou Swanson.👩🏻🌾
Badly wish I could give 5/5 stars because this is such a pro-health product (IMHO) and works so well for taste! There are two main complaints though. First, there's no good excuse for the cost these days: it's been on the market for nearly 20 years in one form or another from this company, with tons of customers buying regularly - that ought to be driving the price down by now. It's worth more than the cheap-o fake chem-lab "sweeteners" out there that will damage your internal organs, including your gut and also your bloodwork, but no one should be paying $10.xx for so few ounces of this! Come on now, SweetLeaf, either you want more, average people to be able to buy this or you don't... Please bring down the cost - you know you can. My second complaint is regarding the packaging itself. This needs a complete redesign (the look is fine, but the physical packaging is not). For one, it's almost impossible to get through the plastic outer wrapping (security seal) when you're just trying to open this to use it, not trying to tamper with it or something. Add a "peel away" tab to the inside top edge of that security seal, with a sturdy, wrap-around seal breaker line that spirals around the inside of that security seal, down to the bottom, and you've got yourself a winner! For another, please include a single-serving sized scoop or spoon in its own plastic packaging, attached to the side of this shaker, when doing future product designs and testing. The handle needs to be long enough to reach to the bottom of the shaker, and the scoop or spoon needs to fit inside the opening for spooning the stevia out of the shaker. It also needs to have a slide-away blocker option that works kind of like the toothpick holder tops work, with very small holes in the top part of the inside of the spoon or scoop, so as to act as a sort of spoon-shaker or scoop-shaker, if the user wants to do that instead of shaking the stevia out through the larger shaker holes already in the top of the container. It would be epic of the stevia itself didn't clump up and sink to the bottom when added to water. I'm guessing it's the inulin (a healthy thing) that does that though. Win some, lose some, I guess. I'd rather deal with that than winding up in the hospital trying to figure out where my IBS came from though.
I had to use WAY more than the other brands I have bought. At first I thought this was fake or bad. For the same size NOW stevia 4oz has over 10 times the servings. This has way to much of something not needed. (inulin)
This item is terrible! I liked the original one that was pictured intitally which is different then pictured above. The other stuff melted away in cold drinks- this crap cakes up in lumps. Why did you change it? It was great before- this stuff is garbage.
Generally, I love Stevia in the shaker jars, which is why I consistently order them! However, I ordered a shipment nearly 3 weeks ago, and I still dont have my Stevia!
It didn't sweeten good at all. I paid 19 dollars with shipping and ended up throwing in the trash.
