Thai Kitchen Gluten Free Thin Rice Noodles, 8.8 oz Box

These noodles were so delicious!! I usually buy lo mein noodles when I make stir fry at home, but I really liked these rice noodles from Thai Kitchen. I could not tell at all that they are gluten-free, they were so good! They were also really easy to make. I just made my regular veggie stir-fry with some marinated tofu, boiled the noodles for 3-4 minutes(which was so quick!), then I added the noodles to my veggies, added my sauce, cooked everything a bit more, and that was that!

The noodles were very easy to make based on the instructions. I used them in two different dishes and they came out great. The noodles were firm, but flexible, and easily coated in the sauces I used. They are also a good in between thickness, so are good for multiple dish types.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to prepare. They cooked quickly and had a great texture—tender without becoming mushy. I used them in a homemade stir-fry, and they soaked up the sauce really well without falling apart. I also appreciate that they're gluten-free and made with simple ingredients. The noodles were very simple to prepare, requiring just under 5 minutes of boiling followed by a quick rinse under cold water. I was happy with the texture. The noodles were tender without becoming mushy and held up well while I finished preparing the rest of dinner. One box made four generous portions for my household, making it a good value as well. As someone who regularly cooks with rice noodles, I appreciated how straightforward these were to prepare and how easily they absorbed the flavors of the broth. I would definitely purchase them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile gluten-free noodle that works well in soups, stir-fries, or customized noodle bowls.

These noodles are so quick and easy to cook - just boil water and then cook the noodles for 3-4 minutes, rinse, and add to your favorite sauce or soup. The longest part is just waiting for the water to boil! If you follow the directions on the box, the texture of the noodles is perfect and they won't get mushy. I added it to soup with some fresh veggies, tofu, and egg, and it was delicious! I look forward to trying it with a curry sauce next. There are 4 servings per box and each serving is a good size. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be to individually wrap each serving because all 4 servings are connected together, and it's a little clunky to try and break off a single serving. We really enjoyed these thin rice noodles. I actually used them in a chicken teriyaki stir fry. We really liked the texture and feel of the noodles. They help up in the stir fry even though they are likely more for soups. They were nice and firm and didn't get mushy even though I cooked them in the microwave with enough water to cover them which was probably not the most efficient way, but they turned out great! I would definitely use again especially in pho or a comforting chicken soup. I did receive the noodles for free for my unbiased review.

I do like this, but I have to caution people that there is no forgiveness in the cooking time. If you cook it for even 1 minute over, it turns to mush and it doesn't really work. If you're expecting a regular pasta, this is not it. This is more thinner and lighter than traditional pasta. Think more like ramen. You can also use it as a substitution for regular ramen noodles. I would definitely get it again if I wanted something on the lighter side, especially in the summer. Be mindful that if you do use it in a soup or a kind of broth it will turn mushy if you do not eat it right away. I just sauteed veggies in mine and it worked great. You also do not need to use so much. An entire package would be too much for one serving. Be mindful of your portion size.

I received Thai Kitchen Thin Rice Noodles in exchange for my honest opinion. I think is a very good option if you are looking for gluten free noodles. Simple ingredients and no preservatives. I made a chicken noodle soup and it turned out great, really good if you want to make something quick but tasty.

I tried cooking these rice noodles two different ways as I split the package into 2. First, as the directions on the box said, boiling. Second, by soaking before adding in a stir fry. I feel as though it was quite difficult to get the perfect texture as they either became too soggy or too hard. Either way they all stuck together. It might have been my cooking skills but nothing to rave about.
