The Pioneer Woman Bird Feeder, Mazie Squirrel-Proof Lantern Design

I purchased two of the puoneer women metal bird feeders that are squirrel proof. They're coated to protect the feeder from rust, ate sturdy, very attractive, and much larger than expected. I'm excited to hang them from the tall double sheppards hook. What I really like is the design function that prevents squirrels from messing with ghe feeder. The little perches for the birds to rest upon and eat the seeds are designed to drop down with any significant weight presses against them. Theres no way a squirrel can get on it to eat the bird seeds. If the birds like the feeder, Im gonna buy two more for my back yard. Also, if you're looking for an attractively well built bird feeder, I highly recommend this product.

This is absolutely beautiful, almost too pretty to put outside! Came well packaged , bright vivid colors, just lovely . Will not disappoint!! I bought it for a gift, but might have to reconsider 😊.

Adorable feeder! Very cute %26 metal so hopefully will survive my persistent squirrels. Easy to fill design . I'm sorry I didn't order more as it's out of stock currently

I loved the look of the feeder, but it wasn't functional! One of the perches "flopped" down the first week and the 2nd one in less than 2 months. I like the "squirrel proof" feature, but I didn't like the length of the cord to secure it. (Made it hang too low or the need to get a taller shepherd's hook!)

This birdhouse is a beautiful design but the one I received was bent in at the top. I am not fond of metal for a birdhouse now so I think I will stick with the PW wooden from now on.

My squirrels figured it out I have to hang mine on a shepherds hook on the deck and at first they were stepping on the bar, closing the door, but within one day, they realized it was the bar so they leaned over from the deck and put their little face in sideways so the door would not shut and yes, they cleaned the entire feeder out that day. I don't care what they make. My squirrels are gonna find a way. but I also noticed only the small birds come to this feeder the Cardinals don't like it. It's too awkward for them, but my cousin said she'll take them just to use for her little birds.

what u didnt like is that where the birds are suppose to hang onto does not stay in place it goes down and the birds do not reach the seed at all its just a waste of money.

I hung my new feeder one evening, and the next day it lay on the ground with its lid open. The “squirrel proof“ aspect failed on the first day. Also, one of its doors was faulty when I opened the box. Perhaps I just received a faulty feeder. Another possibility: Perhaps I'm gifted with genius squirrels!

Sadly it arrived with one broken perch. As it was so cute I tried it out anyhow. Have to say some the reviews had been correct the birds did not like it.

Birds won't use it! I believe the feed slots are too small. Not a single bird. My other feeders have the exact seed and are busy with birds! Bad design on this one, unfortunately.
