Pennington Feeding Frenzy Berry Treat Suet, 11.75 oz, Wild Bird Food, 8 Cake Pack, Fresh

The birds have been eating at my suet feeder nonstop since I loaded it with Feeding Frenzy Berry Treat cakes. I've seen a variety of birds enjoy eating it from morning to evening. Well packaged, excellent quality ingredients, and a great price. I'll definitely buy this again!

Need to read closer, this was a better mix of fat and corn/seed, but still quite messy to handle in the heat. Could probably refrigerate for ease of extraction from the plastic tub, but who has that kind of time. The birds love whatever you give them as extras to help with nesting, but as the one who places the suet in the feeders, I prefer the no melt dough varieties. Good product though.

The birds love this. So many birds came and they were gone quick. I'm glad I bought the big box. I did freeze them before I tried to take them out of the packaging to make it less messy because when they are warm they fall apart a little while I was trying to put them in the container.

This was a huge hit with the birds visiting my yard. It didn't take long for them to find it, and once they did, they kept coming back throughout the day. I enjoyed watching the variety of birds it attracted, and the suet cake held up well in the feeder. If the birds could leave a review themselves, I'm pretty sure it would be five stars.

I recently started putting suet in my bird feeder again after many years away from it, and wow, what a reminder of how well it works. The birds absolutely love this blend, especially the woodpeckers, which have been a real treat to watch up close. It's amazing how many beautiful birds it attracts. Highly recommend for anyone looking to bring more variety to their backyard feeder.

As always suet is not the most fun thing to handle but my winged creatures just love it and get a fresh square every week. I would recommend a popout button on the bottom of the packaging to help release the product but all in all it's all about the birds

The birds around here definitely prefer the berry treat flavor, out of all the other flavors. I hang these suet cakes on a shepherd's hook in a suet cage, and unlike loose bird seed, they don't end up scattered on the ground. I only feed suet in the winter, since that's when birds need the extra fat for insulation and energy—contrary to popular belief, it's not ideal for summer. Woodpeckers love them, along with other songbirds I couldn't quite identify. Squirrels usually go after the peanut butter suet, but they haven't bothered with the berry flavor. And for any squirrel mischief, a little grease on the pole works wonders—they slide right down before they can loot the feeder!

Just like everything else, suet and birdseed have skyrocketed in price. I found this to be a good value. I'm iffy on whether or not it will melt in the summer heat though. I like that it's fat based and not "cakey" based as that has a tendency to crumble and produce a lot of waste. This is a good economical choice for your winter bird feeding needs.

Nasty! There is a layer of fat on top and the suet and the suet breaks all up when you remove it from the packaging. It is nasty and I buy a lot of suet. The suet looks like it is mostly fat and corn. I will not buy the Berry suet again. I usually buy the Feeding Frenzy Peanut suet which I would give 5 stars, but the Feeding Frenzy Berry 0-1 star.

I have bought several varieties of suet from Walmart but this was NOT a good choice! The product is extremely greasy and has been poured into a plastic tray. It looks like ground grain on one side, filled to the brim on the other with solidified grease. The product can't be removed from the try and unless it fits into your feeder, you are stuck. There is no easy way to remove the wrapper without getting your hands very oily. Lastly, it appears that this amount of grease has attracted a raccoon, which we have never had to deal with before. There are other, better, products - pass this one by!
