Top Shelf TSB-2438 Window Air Conditioner Mounting Support Bracket

absoutly an awesome product i never woul have gotten the air conditioner in without it. i dont use directions and got it assembled upside down at first. Didnt take long at all to figure out how it was supposed to go. thank you top shelf. I can now sit back and enjoy cool air.

Arrived on time and easy to put in. On our first attempt the bracket was angled too low and so the A/C was not actually resting on it -- we should have realized when the A/C was still so heavy putting it in place! Once we had the height right, sliding the A/C in was a breeze. It helped to use a level to make sure the bracket was *just* slightly angled down.

Quick easy setup. No holes to drill and very sturdy

This is a sturdy piece. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit my windows. The windows in my house must be extra large because none of these things have arms that are long enough to extend to the sides of my windows. Assembly was not as easy as it should be because the instructions are sparse and don't cover the product well. Someone on the assembly line put one of the pins in the wrong hole. I had to remove it and fix the error. Also one of the pieces was bent. None of this is a deal breaker but for the price you pay you have a right to expect better. I rated it as average because it is a common problem with things today. The people making the products don't use them or buy them so they don't care if they are suitable and if they are in good condition.

This seemed like a great idea, however my 73lb LG air conditioner didn't really work with it. It took a man I hired 6 hours to figure out and solve the installation issues as he had to add wood to the sill and screw the front of the a.c. unit into it. There is a small note I missed that the pins don't match on each side when attaching the legs. I think this is a destabilizing design flaw. Also there should be more instruction on how you secure the air conditioner because just setting it on the shelf isn't enough especially when that shelf needs to be tilting down 1/2 " for drainage. As you can see in picture, the wood was needed not only to screw the air conditioner in but also to provide level support. Videos weren't helpful either. A huge disappointment!

Will not fit double hung windows that are installed from the outside, typical replacement window options. support legs will not make contact with he house. wound up drilling holes through the lower tray and bolting it to the window sill and making makeshift side panels to fill the gap beside the air conditioner.

Item does support AC unit so far But has Already Started to Rust after only 4 months of use. White Paint Coating does Nothing to protect This AC Support. I can Imagine what It will look like in one years Time

Poor service from Walmart on purchase of air conditioner and mounting bracket and installation - spent 2 days trying to get ahold of someone at ANGI and Walmart. pro did not show up for appointment and I did not receive a phone call or text or email for any reason for them not showing up. Horrific experience. Now I am waiting for Walmart to pick up the air conditioner and mounting bracket as I did a return on Friday 06/27/2025. I am very upset that no one has come for the return.

Walmart delivery damaged the product on arrival. Made pickup for return difficult, I'm still trying to get my money back. They will not get my money again for any item over 100 dollars. Purchased with ac that also arrived damaged. Purchased warranty for them to have to call Walmart customer support to get the to work for their customer. I'm extremely disappointed.
