It does have a different taste. The best way I can describe it is, it tastes more like pepper than the pepper I am use to. It has a little more of a spicy kick to it too. It may make you think the pepper you had before was diluted. I have not tried this pepper in any sauces yet, but I would imagine it would be a good choice. It leaves a stronger taste, %26 I am guessing that the stronger flavor is because it is a higher quality. I feel like it should come in a glass jar instead of a paper package, but that's a really minor issue.

I like that the pepper is grown organically. That is important for my family. I also like that it is not a coarse pepper and is instead a powder and, therefore, doesn't leave heavily textured specks in (for example) my mashed potatoes. It has the right amount of heat and is the product of a reputable company.

this black pepper is ground fine so you can use less in recipes which makes the bag last longer. it comes in a airtight resealable bag which I appreciate because it makes it last longer. it may seem expensive but for the quantity and the cost and the fact that I need to use less it's a great deal.

Seriously the best tasting black peppers I've ever had that was pre ground. Lovely texture and the amount was great for the price.

This is a very unique package of pepper, the explanation of what it is does not do it justice. It's a very finely ground pepper powder and extraordinarily flavorful, one might almost say “hot”! I am delighted with it and will definitely order it again. In the meantime they should rewrite the description because it is a very uncommon product!

It is exactly what I shopped for. It's very fine so use caution when dispensing.

This product is two powdery and it has no heat and not much flavor. I mixed pure ground black pepper with this and I still don't like it not much flavor.I was disappointed in taste and texture.
