U.S. Art Supply Clear Gesso Acrylic Medium, 480ml Bottle

I use this gesso to prep canvas-type paint by number paintings. It leaves a very nice smooth texture that makes painting a joy and gives the acrylic paint an excellent long lasting surface to adhere to. I especially like that it fills in those pesky little tiny divots that the gauzy canvas has, which make it much harder to fill in with paint.

Gesso is gesso… and I got this in addition to the white that I prime my canvases with. I hope I can use this like the more expensive liquid clear medium. All of these say “acrylic” when I'm going to use oil paints… but if all else fails I'll just start back painting with acrylic paints! 😂

I am very happy with the products I have been able to find on Walmart app at a decent price. Better prices than Amazon and I have been able to find almost everything I need for furniture painting and art projects, very pleased.

I'm new at this "art thing" but it is a smooth %26 great coverage for painting %26 pours. This Gesso is of great quality,I will be buying it again and suggest this as a great choice if you need gesso.

I make pastel paper and this gesso is great. It is also a great value.

Good for prepping my coloring pages !!! only thing is that you have to let it dry for about a day!

It spreads nicely similar in consistancy to white glue. The clear dries clear so as not to cover the (paint by)numbers art I will soon be painting. The lid needs work as it looks like it would snap open when the bottle is tipped over or stored somewhere.

I'm not sure how I feel about this product yet. It definitely isn't like other gesso I've used before. It adds a sheen instead of the gritty tooth you should get from gesso. This seems comparable to an acrylic gloss varnish. I will use it for that, but it definitely doesn't have the properties I intended to use it for.

Not impressed. i use it on my PBNs and it really doesn't do anything different than not using it.

This is supposed to be a clear gesso, but is more like a gloss medium! It has little to no 'tooth' and dried shiny, not matte like others I have used! By the time I was ready to use it, the window for returns was over so I'm stuck with this product. $17... Will not buy from them again.
