I like the easy fit, the easy clean up so I can reuse them a few times. I like they catch the fine particles. This one order should last me all summer.

I like how these skimmer socks catch even the smallest debris in my pool. They also make cleaning the skimmer basket so much easier, just slip the sock off and add a new one. You can clean the socks if you choose to, however I just dispose and add a new one.

My pool has not been opened for 4 years, these socks pre filter the water so I don't have to backwash. The mesh winter cover dissolved over time, and these filters kept all the tiny debris from entering the sand filter. I will continue using these after my pool is clear.

I purchased these socks to help filter out the rampant algae my pool had, while I was bring it back under control. They are amazing at capturing larger particles. In fact, I believe that they helped me reduce my algae load by 50% over the course of 2 weeks, saving me from having to flush my sand filter every 15 minutes. I did learn that, as these socks fill, they get heavy and they do block the flow of water in the basket. I broke 2 baskets before I caught on that I needed to dump and rinse them frequently--an expensive lesson to learn. I DID reuse my socks until they got too gross, which was a little over-the-top, because they are inexpensive. My use--filtering algae--is very different from most anyone else's, though, I am sure. I rarely use them otherwise, unless I have pool users who have long hair, or sunscreen, etc., when I will put one on the basket to pre-filter those things. When I have needed these socks, they have not disappointed. My pool is an above-ground round 30-foot, FWIW.

I like the mesh tightness, Yet too small of top stretch for fitting for Our inground 7inch- thus 9 inch will basket lip, pool basket. I KEPT and used for my quart paint straining.... It would be nice to order material by the Yard and Sew my Iwn... Still-goid quality mesh..

DOES NOT CORRECTLY FIT A STANDARD 8" BASKET. YOU WILL BREAK THE BASKET BEFORE GETTING IT AROUND THE BASKET RIM. THEN THROW AWAY THE BASKET AND FILTERS AND START ALL OVER.

Way too small! Disappointing.

These are the smallest socks I've ever seen 3.5 inches x 6.75 inches and the nylon is paper thin . I am sending back

So I purchased this new item and it did absolutely nothing nothings it said it would I had hi hopes but in the end it did not work
