Vigo Yellow Rice, 10 oz Bag

This has been my favorite for a very long time. Just the right amount of spices and flavor. I dice up chicken tenders (season them with a small bit of Blacken Seasoning), add to the boiling water and rice mixture. Simmer with a lid on. Dinner is ready in 30 minutes. Serve with broiled hot dog buns (face up) that have been lightly coated with butter and sesame seeds. : ) mmm

This rice is so tasty. We love cooking it with boneless country style pork ribs in the instant pot. Cook the seasoned ribs first using chicken broth and then add the packet of rice and total required amount of liquid (broth) and cook on the rice setting. It's so good.

This is a simple rice my husband loves with Mexican dishes. He prefers it because the seasoning isn't overpowering but subtle so that it compliments spicy dishes. A nice side dish. And very inexpensive.

This brand has always been excellent. I tend to mix this with a half a bag of regular rice to increase the amount, but overall the price never disappoints!

I love yellow rice and this one is perfectly seasoned you can eat it alone or with pork chops, breaded chicken or chicken breast. It's just super flavorful rice.

For all you 1Star Reviews, you gotta know how to cook this rice. Best in a rice cooker. I use Aroma Rice cooker and set it to Rice to cook. (Not Brown Rice Button, that cooks longer). Add an entire container of Swansons Chx Stock, quart size container (should measure 5 cups in a non-standard measuring cup, Not the glass kind). Oil your cook pan, add a few pats of butter, i use good butter for this like Kerrigold herb butter, it's the best. Add extra seasoning if you like. Add the rice to cooker and cook on Rice setting. Set it and forget it. In about an hour you will have Vigo rice cooked to perfection. I do sometimes cheat and open the lid to give it a quick stir. Quickly do this, as to not lose too much steam. Steam is the secret to cooking this rice. Stovetop won't work. Take out basket from rice cooker or it will burn on the warm setting. You're Welcome. Come back and rewrite your review.

My family loves it. Pairs well with chicken and pork. Generally our go to with pork chops of any chicken dish.

I make this rice at least 3 times a week! I absolutely love it and I just started to make it in my rice cooker and it's delicious.
