Heavy duty steps. Have to be put together - but not too difficult. Works very well with my pool

It is perfect for our pool. My husband and I are seniors, and could not climb our old pool ladder. These steps are perfect for us and makes getting in and out of the pool so much easier. We also have toddler great grandchildren and the new steps are easier for them also.

As I got older (and fatter), I found getting up the pool ladder increasingly difficult. Add in recuperating from a broken ankle and I wasn't going *near* the pool, much less swimming. This new ladder is great! Wider, sturdy and much easier to ascend. It's still rather steep, but I can get out of the pool comfortably again. My partner found it easy to assemble, too, with no cutting or adjusting to fit. Keep in mind you'll need sand or pea gravel. Two thumbs up.

Felt a little cheap, overall an amazing purchase for the money. Delivery was amazing too, a couple day for it to get to my home. 9/10 for me, would recommend.

The only thing I don't like are the sharp grooves in the steps. Not very comfortable on bare feet. Wish they were no skid/slip steps instead.

While the end product was everything we were hoping for, the difficulty encountered during the assembly process was unexpected. The requirement to heat and "mold" the steps to the stringers was both physically taxing and time consuming. But with all that said, once assembled and installed it provides us with exactly what we were looking for in stability and appearance.

The ladder's design makes assembly incredibly difficult. You cannot put it together alone - you need at least two people and with both straining. The instructions are not clear and there is no identification of the hardware. You have to try and guess what goes where. I haven't gotten it assembled yet so I don't know how the ladder will function but so far, I am not impressed. Also, the top step is very rough edged. You will need to file it down before you put it in the pool. I can see it damaging the liner if you leave it as delivered.

Stairs would not sink, had to go buy pea rock to weigh it down and drill 50 holes to get the gravel in it. What a water of time. The description should say...you have pea rock? You are going to need it.

There are no additional deck mount options to work with my pool/deck situation. Disappointed that only one size deck mount is available. Considering returning the steps.
