I was looking to replace two phones that were well past their life, when I came across this set of three phones so I decided to update all of my phones at once. Great set of phones. These were exactly what I was looking for. The letters and numbers could have been a little bit bigger. But over all I like them.
I like everything with this product. It's the third or 4 V-tech phones we have. I don't know how long the battery life will be.
We have been very happy with the VTech phones. We originally bought Panasonic because of the availability where we could shop but the quality of the voice reception was really bad. We returned those and found VTech on line through Walmart. Easy to set up and 3 handsets is what we were looking to buy.
We recently purchased the V-tech 3 phone/answering machine system. Because it is new yet, of course it works fine. I don't anticipate any problems because we have owned several v-tech phones in the past. The ease of programming the contact list is greatly appreciated. The conference call option was a good surprise and we always use the intercom features on our phones. So far, so good!
We had one like this before and were very pleased with it, so we are replacing the old one. Very easy to operate. I do wish the wall hanging option was a little better, but overall a good price and product.
OK for the money. I am a bit hard of hearing and the answering machine doesn't go loud enough. The caller ID screen is hard to read. While the screen lights up, the lettering isn't dark enough so it isn't easy to read like my last phone. We are an older couple so probably for someone younger it's great for the money.
It doesn't hold a charge long.
I ordered these phones for my dad back in April. We received them on April 23. Now here it is July 29 and the phones aren't working. I contacted my local Walmart to see about returning/ exchanging them and was told that they wouldn't do anything because the return window had closed. :( So I guess I'm stuck with them. One thing is for sure, when I order the next set it won't be from Walmart!!
We did not have a good experience with the Vtech phones. The phone cut out and or hung up on callers, and with two phone lines it would ring continuously even after one of the hand sets were answered. ( could not distinquish the different ring tones.)
We bought these phones about 6 months ago and we have had nothing but problems. We have to unplug them and try to reset them. There is so much static on the phones and we can't even understand messages that have been left for us - if you're thinking of buying them run away.
