VTech VTSN5127 Amplified Cordless Answering System with Big Buttons & Display

I bought this phone for my best friend because it had the big large numbers on it, and a very loud ringer for her to be able to hear. She absolutely loves the phone. I'm just a little disappointed that it didn't come with two hands sets.

I had originally been shopping for a Clarity phone for my elderly parents. Because of Covid19, I couldn't find the phone I wanted in stock anywhere. I noticed this phone as a suggested product while I was searching for the Clarity phone. I started looking for reviews and decided to give it a try. Does everything the description says and more. With the volume control and audio boost button on each handset, my parents are able to hear and operate this phone with ease. The audible speaking of each number as you dial it is a big help too. I didn't realize until after I bought the phone that they make a panic button (Help, I've fallen and can't get up) as well as a doorbell that integrates into the system. I immediately added the panic button to my setup. My folks have used the VTech for several days now and are pleased with it's function.

Bought this for an older relative. She likes that it was loud and clear but it took her a while to master all the features. This might be five star for a more tech savy person.

Seemed ok, but changed my mind when I found out I may be moving soon, where they have no land-line availability.

Programming was simple enough after you figure it out. Be prepared for a couple attempts. It would be great if once you loaded a number it would announce a name not the number. My mom (91) cannot make the relationship between the picture and the number. She hangs up thinking she called the wrong number.

I am disappointed in what I found out about this phone brought it thought it would work sound is not good static was told the way i would use it isn't true at all

This phone gives a lot of feedback which makes it hard to hear and understand what the person is saying

Bought this for aging in-laws that are hard of hearing. Volume control functions well. Handset is wide and curved, very difficult to hold, it slips out of your hand. They like it, because of the extrr Te a volume boost, but its hard to hold in one hand.

The picture shows 4 “M” buttons that I specifically looked for in the handset. The one I received had 3 plus a blue emergency button. This is unacceptable since I needed 4, and the emergency one will only be confusing for my Dad.
