Weber Hinged Cooking Grate fits 22'' Charcoal Grills

Works like a champ and glad I ordered it after getting a new bottom crate last year. Steaks and hamburgers have been tasty! Glad I ordered it and waiting for my new Red Kettle!

but if the originals were stainless steel rather than chrome plated would not have needed to. Even if the grates that come with Webers were not, it would be nice to be able to buy stainless steel replacements, even if dearer. Some of us live right on a coast.

Easy to add more charcoal for extended grilling time. Works great when cooking a turkey at Thanksgiving.

Purchased a hinged grill for My 30 odd year old Charcoal Weber along with 2 charcoal boxes. I now have what is essentially a new weber. Ver happy thanks.

The grate is fine, but overpriced. When it arrived a small spot of the surface coating was “bubbled” and rough.

The grate seems to be a thinner gauge than the original that I purchased about 10 years ago.

I have to replace cooking grill just because the original material isn't adequate for the temperature and environment for the charcoal Webber. If the grill was made from stainless steel there would be some additional up front cost but lifetime costs would be lower and customer satisfaction would increase. It the old addage make it right the first time and you have a customer for life. The customer becomes your salesman and your competitor will either adapt or fail. I see the newer models now come with stainless steel grills but replacements are still poor quality plated steel.
