Very noticable difference in latency between this and Bluetooth on my Windows PC with an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. For the price, it is highly worth it. I can actually play GTA and shoot with my controller now instead of using my mouse for gunfire situations in RDR2 and GTAV. Plugged in and worked, no hassle setup.
I love the easy plug and play availability brought by this which far exceeds existing latent Bluetooth controller connectivity. It is a pain to get working on Linux with xone drivers, but possible and very effective for streaming games to my raspberry pi over moonlight from a more capable device and works just as well immediately on windows with no other problems. This is the only Bluetooth sort of broadcasting tool which actually guaranteeably works.
Worked great out of the box. All I had to do was install the Xbox accessory app and it connected without any issues.
Not new, used. Not in manufacturer packaging as advertised, comes in plastic bag. There is no guarantee this is the same item as ordered, could easily be 3rd party knock off of the actual Microsoft receiver for PC that has been discontinued. Highly suggest giving money to a legit source
It is apparently used, as it didn't come in a box. It came in a resealable bag. I thought it was coming new. It also doesn't even look like the picture. I am scared to plug this random USB from the resealable bag I just received into my computer...
“Next day delivery” never got the item. Also turns out this same item is on Amazon sold by the same distributor “Pegly” and on Amazon it is not listed as an official Microsoft product. Alittle shady that on here it is only reason I bought it instead of on Amazon was bc I thought it was the official Microsoft product. Only good thing was they refunded me with shipping after 5 days. If you're having issues with BT and controller Best Buy has BT adapters for as cheap as 10$ I recommend the 8bitdo dongle or even better their 2.4ghz controllers that come with a charging dock 10/10 for pc controller.
Does not work. I wanted to use it to connect my Xbox wireless headphones to my pc, to improve latency and qaulity, but the product continously unpaired from my headphones and then got really hot. it was plugged into the front panel of my pc, not near any vent or fan. Would not recommend
Very dissatisfied. First, it took two weeks to arrive. Not Walmart's fault? OK, but I'll not order from Walmart again because it takes two weeks. Not much quicker than ordering from China. The seller wasn't Walmart, it was Lifetime Controllers. The package was simply a 6" padded envelope with the adapter inside along with a one-sheet Xerox copy of a manual. No retail box, no printed warranty. The copy of the manual refers to a USB extender which is nowhere to be found. And no cap to protect the USB connector. This was supposed to be a new device. Nowhere did I see it written that it wasn't new. Ebay has stricter rules about what's new and what's not. I'm about to find out if it even works. Update: well, it works so I'll cut my losses and keep it. Never again, though.
I dont understand why anyone would plug that into their computer. So sketchy
Item arrived and does not work. Adapter does not power on at all. Do not purchase from this seller. Selling broken products. BEWARE!
