This is extra special, it was a gidt from our son to my husband for his birthday; we will keep it forever. Our 13 year old shopped on his own and said " This is what I want for dad's 50th birthday, he plays X-box all the time. It is a perfect gift and very useful!
After reading the reviews I was really nervous about ordering this fridge just on the fact so many people reported the fridge damaged upon delivery. Fortunately for me my fridge came in with no damage and has been working great. The price was low enough to roll the dice on the purchase and it worked out. Overall I'm happy with this product. Its a great addition to my game room and people always aske where did I get it.
Shipping was fast and it arrived in great condition albeit with a small ding on the door that does not affect the way it works. The fridge was bigger than expected and looks just like a giant Xbox Series X. The smile it put on my face as we unboxed and set it up was well worth the cost which we got for $115. It keeps drinks good and cold and the mini freezer works very well too.
It fits perfectly where I needed it too, the website description was accurate with quality pictures of the item, the product it self was in excellent condition when it arrived, i was notified as soon it showed up, it gets cold enough for food storage and the small freezer works great!
I was hoping to be one of the lucky few who received their fridge unscathed, but alas it was not to be. When I recieved it, it had a nice dent in the right side of the box. Upon opening it I saw a tiny ding near the top back, which was no biggie. However, I started to worry about the dent on the box and the fact that the foam was thin and broken in half. As I pulled the front right corner styrofoam, I was greeted with an nice big dent in the door. This fridge is too big to fit in my car and attempts to negotiate with Walmart for pickup, exchange, or compensation has been futile. I have not recieved any response from Ukonic either. Considering how poorly the fridge was packed, and how my previous thermoelectric cooler was accumulating water inside the case, I will not be buying Ukonic products again. If it wasn't for the fact that it actually works like a real fridge, has a cool design, and was on sale, I would have given this a solid zero.
I bought this for my bf bday and the cooking and the product itself was okay no dents or scratches when it arrived. But the light inside the fridge didn't turn on. I reached out to the seller and they couldn't help me, they didn't want to offer a replacement, just a refund. They told me to return it to Walmart for a refund. But I didn't want a refund I wanted a replacement. So long story short I just kept it and it does keep drinks and food ice cold!
I had to buy 3 of these refrigerators and choose the 1 with the least amount of damage to keep. The way they package it guarantees it will be crushed in the upper corners. The freezer section's performance and design is a joke. I just bought it because it looks like an Xbox. Expecting to receive an undamaged refrigerator with decent performance is a mistake. It isn't inexpensive for what it is and that's like getting kicked when you're already down.
The fridge has multiple dents. A small one at the bottom of the door, a bigger one on the edge of the door that is about 8 inches long, and another one on the back by the power cord. The box arrived with no damage, so the shipper was not to blame. Clearly this was already damaged before it was boxed, and it is not a returned item because the plastic is still on it. As of today, I have spent THREE WEEKS going back and forth with customer service. After 2 weeks, the seller said they would refund 60% and I could keep it so we threw away the box - then this morning they basically said oops, you bought it from walmart, so you can only return it to them for a refund - But I CAN'T because it has to be in the original box that we don't because we were told to keep the fridge. Not to mention the fridge is now significantly higher priced than when I bought it during a black friday sale, so I'd have to pay more and risk the same outcome, and it won't arrive in time for Christmas at this point either way. Also, you have to remove the bottom two drink can holders in the door in order for the door to actually close, because they butt up against the drawer and shelf inside the fridge and the door seal won't stay closed. It does stay very cold, and it does look like a giant xbox - that's the only positive thing I can say about this entire experience and product. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Honestly I was excited for it, unfortunately it's not cold enough and it came to me dented. I didn't return it due to the fact that I got it on sale, and they didn't accept exchanges. They only accepted returns. Also wanted me to return it to the store…. When I got it delivered.
Was excited to get my xbox Mini fridge. Unfortunately, it came in damaged on the side with a big dent. I have no way of returning it. So disappointed with the shipping service I've been saving for this item for a while as a gamer, i was excited to add it to my collection.
