A solid lighter. I wish it was less plastic and more metal, but so far, so good.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The first thing you need to know is that product is coming empty. If you dont have you need to purchase butane fuel as well. Overall I liked the product. I like to go camping and it will help me lit the fire very quickly. It holds a huge amount of heat. It is also adjustable. The trigger is kind of small. If you have huge hands it may be slighlty harder to hold and lit but not a big deal. It works great though. It does what its supposed to do. Can even use to shrink the tubes.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I’ve used this a few times and it works great. It’s easy to use and I liked that it has an adjustable flame size. The only thing I didn’t realize was that you have to purchase butane separately. Overall it's a great product at a great price.
The safety features on this lighter are awkward and why I would not recommend it. You need both hands to light it. Very inconvenient.
This is not bad. A little pricey. Others have stated its a little hard to light and it is, kind of. I am very mechanical so not someone who might have trouble figuring things out. It can be lit but its uncomfortable and just feels off. I researched a lot of different torches, they all seem to have this or that thats bad about them. I went with this even after reading comments about problems lighting it because its made from a reputable manufacturer (Zippo) with decades in the business. I'd rather have a solid built torch that will last (I belive this will) even if it means its a little uncomfortable to light. For the price point of this torch compared to other manufacturers, I think this will be a more rugged and reliable torch. It also burns hotter than its competitors. To sum up, i think it should be at least 5 dollars less than current price. Could be redesigned to fit more comfortably in hand when lighting making it easier to light. Ultimately I am still happy with my Zippo torch.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I ordered the zippo tire fast torch. I was happy to see that it is small in size as the idea of a torch is a bit intimidating to me. I like that it has an adjustable flame size and can be refilled with butane. It does not come with butane, so you must buy that separately in order to use it. I do not like that it comes with a prop 65 warning indicating that the product might have components that could lead to cancer or reproductive harm.
The fire is ok, but, the user controls are awful. First, the fact that you can’t light the flame in soft flame mode really diminishes that feature. You have to light it in torch mode then switch it to soft flame. The grip safety and trigger on the lighter are poorly designed. This designer really needs to pickup a Colt M1911 to see how these controls should be. The grip safety is way too short. Have to hold lighter in an odd position to depress the safety. The trigger is mounted so that it moves on a 45 degree angle instead of straight back. All this makes it impossible to hold the lighter in a natural position while using it. I don’t recommend this lighter.
The torch grip is too short for larger adult hands. This, combined with the extreme pressure required to press both the finger and thumb buttons at the same time to spark the flame, make it difficult to use. Also, I've had it for about a month or so and the butane has run out. I'm unable to refill it. I've followed the instruction booklet and instructional video, including attempting to release any pressure by pressing on the torch's refill nozzle before attempting to refill. It will not refill. The liquid flows from the refill can onto the bottom of the torch and drips down the sides instead of into the tank of the torch. I do not recommend.
only received 1of2. Contacted Walmart and seller. No reply.
i cant push the safety button and pull the trigger to light it. its very hard for me so i hate it
