I rated everything 5 Stars, even though I haven't tasted it yet. It is currently in the oven rn as we speak. (1/20/26 5:39 PM) I just came here to share my story/my experience. This was so much fun to do as a family. We really do enjoy eating pizza, so I decided to give this pizza mix a try. I actually stumbled upon this pizza mix yesterday when I was looking for pizza dough to try out for the first time. I had the ready made pizza crust (refrigerated), in my cart. After reading a ton of reviews on this pizza mix, I decided to go with this one and remove the ready made crust. I read so many great reviews and suggestions about this pizza mix, as a first timer of this product, I just went ahead and got a bunch of them for later use. I can't wait until it gets done. I'm so excited to try it out. I hope we love it because I don't want to have to get rid of all this mix that I decided to get at one time. I will include a picture of our pizza before it went in the oven. Also, all of you have great ideas on adding ingredients to this homemade pizza. I actually used the Classico pizza sauce, added a tsp of sugar, a lil salt, a pk of fast rising yeast, I covered it in my mixing bowl with cling wrap and let it sit for an hour. I enjoyed watching the dough rise. We absolutely LOVED this experience. Thank you all for your great ideas and I hope to make your bbq pizza one of these days.
Sigh I love this but… Iv discovered how to do it at home with homemade everything and dough is done in 5 min just like this one except no nasty ingredients inside bc I'm making it no yay but is this one yummy for quick yes but I'm quicker without it now still good tho
im a senior citizen who i quess has to much time on his hands LOL, i use Walmart s pizza crust mix for dough ,you can use pizza sauce or pasta sauce ive used both ,1 - 160z package of mozzarella cheese and whatever toppings you like 👍 👌 chefs of America get cooking all my best Grandpa John
I really love this pizza crust mix. I make bread and pizza dough from scratch and I cannot lie, I can notice this is not comparable with the "from scratch home made" dough I make but sometimes I don't have time to make my own dough and this Crust Mix is very helpful! If you don't have the practice to make dough from scratch or don't have the time for it, I do recommend it! Having it on my kitchen is very handy for a great family home made pizza night
This crust is absolutely epic. I added in 1 teaspoon of sugar to the dough and I did let it sit for an hour to develop more flavor. I used prego marinara sauce and great value brand pizza cheese. My kids, who have always hated homemade pizza, immediately asked me to make another pizza! I tried it and the crust is absolutely delicious. I pre-baked the crust for 5 minutes at 425 and then baked again for 13 minutes with the toppings on. It made about an 8" round pizza which was pretty small, so I would buy multiple packets to have on hand for pizza night. This is a new staple for our family! No need to order take out!
I found that using one package of this mix makes a very very small pizza crust , so be aware if you want anything medium to large then get 2 packages cause otherwise your gonna have a personal pizza. I really like this mix, and for the price you can't beat it if you hate frozen pizzas like myself. It is a simple 2 ingredient whip up oil and water with the mix and let it rise , then pat it out and top it and you get good pizza. I would say if you want good pizza this is they crust to try.
It makes a medium size crust..... I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil and sprinkled self rising flour on ky cutting board and rolling pin to flatten the dough. for a larger pizza use two packages. I love this product, easy to make and tastes great! really good value! Homemade pizza is the best! Try it!
very easy. mix with half cup hot water. add flour if sticky. i added two heaping teaspoons to first bag and 3 to next one. put teaspoon oil on the ball of dough. sour for 5 min. put in oven, lowest rack 475 for 5 min. remove put on toppings and cook 9-11. crust tasted very good. texture great. such a great price.
i have used this product for years. It's still both the best tasting and best bargain ever! Making pizza at home opens up all kinds of ideas! The kids want to participate in preparing dinner! My family loves cooking pizza together!!!
Great Value homemade pizza dough is a great treat for making homemade pizza. If you have a few minutes to mix up the dough, by the time your oven is ready you will have let it rise, and spread it out, and added your sauce and toppings. All at a fraction of the cost of a frozen pie, and you control your crust thickness and toppings quantity, so everyone gets their pizza their way.
