I love Dominos dark brown sugar. It is superior in flavor due to the richness of the maple content. I won't make baked beans without this ingredient! Once you compare the dark versus light version, you will never go back to using light brown sugar again!

This dark brown sugar has a rich molasses flavor that enhances any recipe. The fine granules add a moist, tender texture to homemade chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread, barbecue sauces, and taste great in iced tea. The convenient, heavy-duty zipper pouch seals completely tight, keeping the sugar soft and scoopable without hardening into a solid brick.

I like the taste in fresh brewed tea. It has a wonderful flavor, dissolves easily, no crunchy bits and is packaged in a convenient way to scoop from bag and reseal it for freshness. I highly recommend this item and prefer it over the light brown sugar. However, it can be difficult to find.

This sugar is excellent for a variety of uses but particularly baking. Cookies, cakes and sauces etc. It has a great flavor and texture and I find it to be consistently good quality.

Packet was broken. It says resealable however a broken packet is not keeping sugar perfectly fresh.

The dark brown sugar is significantly lighter than it used to be. You can see from my picture how it compares to light brown sugar - very little difference. The brown sugar in the container is dark brown sugar I purchased previously - may months ago. I believe this is a cost-cutting method of adding less molasses, therefore an inferior product. Very disappointed in this change.

The bag of Domino Dark Brown Sugar, had holes in the bag, not sure from what? Not hygienic, threw it away. The plastic bag is super thin. I purchased on sale and the price is higher now. I prefer Domino pure cane dark brown sugar. Threw it away.

There is a hole in the bag, about the size of a quarter, and it is rock hard. This could not have just happened, but happened before it was delivered to us. You can't miss the large hole in the bag in the photo. You can also see how hard it is in one of the photos. Needs to be replaced.

The bag had two big holes in it and the sugar was hard as a brick!
