The only drawback about this vitamin supplement is the daily percentage of each vitamin when compared to another vitamin called nutricost METHYLATED MULTIVITAMIN. First of all, nutricost has 750 mcg or 30,250% of vitamin B12 whereas Beworths has 20 mcg or 833%. I need a lot of B12 because I have a need for more energy as I have peripheral neuropathy of the hands and feet causing balance problems and I'm constantly dropping things carried in my left hand. If I get tired from lack of energy my left foot drags and I could get tripped by my left foot and that could cause a fall as well as a sprained ankle which I've had a sprained ankle before. Second, vitamin B1 (thiamin HCL) has 75 mg or 6250% for nutricost whereas Beworths has 5.5 mg or 458%. Also, Folate (as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate) has 2000 mcg DFE or 500% in nutricost whereas Beworths has 667 mcg DFE or 167%. There are other vitamins lower in quantity not mentioned. The reasons I bought Beworths were the low price of $14.99 plus tax since nutricost is $15.95 and I was looking for organic (high quality vitamins) vitamins that don't cost a fortune.
When I look for vitamins I check for if the vitamin contains methylcobalamin as B12 instead of cyanocobalamin (the cheapo undigestable version of B12). The vitamins containing cyanocobalamin might be cheaper than other vitamins but I don't think that my body can digest cyanocobalamin so I buy the organic (more expensive) vitamins.
