switched to this after Seattle's best started being expensive and tasting funky. its so good i couldn't switch to folgers because its expensive and im not a fan of yuban its sour and same with maxwell house its super sour i heard about the salt trick but im not trying to add to my sodium intake if i shouldn't have too. i have yet to try the other blends but this is soooo good especially since i drink my coffee black. its weirdly nostalgic to me but ive never tried this brand until this year. it feels like what diner or coffee shop coffee should taste like. starbucks taste and smells pungent like cat urine and dunkin is straight sewer water like every location its just not good.
I've been drinking Peet's House Blend since I lived in Berkeley in the early 1980s and walked down to Peet's ONE location to stand in line to buy beans. For decades my house blend coffee in the mornings as reminded me of my 20s and has been the constant on my table. Grateful that I can still sip my coffee in the morning and remember catching glimpses of Mr. Peet in the store. I know you have ALL KINDS of other products and a empire now, but I close my eyes and remember the corner in Berkeley where I was deciding who to be as an adult.
Received a PEETS gift bag for my birthday %26 really liked it. The blend I had was not available so thought I'd give Off the Grid blend a try. It is now my new go to coffee. I even buy the whole beans, grind %26 brew in my Keurig. Package states notes of chocolate, pear %26 almond butter but I didn't really sense that, rather a smooth, robust, pleasing taste of a great cup of coffee. No aftertaste or bite. I am not a purest, so add a tad bit of sugar %26 half and half. Never a fake creamer! The best part is fragrance of my early morning cup brewing then to the the balcony! to enjoy! This medium brew is a well-rounded sip making this my favorite way to start the morning Now if coffee prices would just not go off the charts!!
When I need a medium roast bean, it's always Big Bang. During frequent trips to the mother ship, Al would regale us with tales of his coffee big bang and I will be forever grateful to him for his excellent combination of coffee genius and vibrant social skills.
I recently bought Peet's and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The coffee has a rich, smooth flavor with a great aroma, and it tastes fresh with every cup. It's strong without being bitter, making it perfect for my morning routine. Excellent quality at a reasonable price. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to other coffee lovers.
Purchasing online is always convenient, but to await the item with great expectations is always the case with an order of Peet's French Roast. It has been the only coffee we've purchased for many years simply because it is the best...aclassic in the coffee world.
For the Peet's everyday blends, my go to is Major D's . I bought the French Roast for the first time in a very long while. It's a good French Roast. I prefer the Italian Roast as it has a bit more depth and body than the French. The Peets French Roast is very different from others, particularly the Starbucks French Roast which is overly roasted and lacks any subtlety whatsoever.
Coffee is good but web site listing is falacious. Listed as 6 Pack but buried in features is that this order is for one. If I had seen this I would have ordered from a less expensive listing. Will not purchase any kind of items from Wallmart in the future.
Was really looking forward to it but I have to say the flavor is off. A sweet profile which is not what we wanted at all. My husband thinks they mask lower quality beans with the flavor. There is only one option for medium roast and that's the big bang.
Every single bean labeled as a "bright roast" is at least a medium roast or darker. When I contacted them about this, they literally told me, "We just tend to roast a bit darker." Does that even make sense? I bought this specifically because I wanted a light roast, but being told that they just roast dark by default is ridiculous.
