I have purchased 5 of these sturdy clear 4qt. glass bowls. I've given two away to new bread bakers. I sometimes use 3 at a time to make 9 loaves of sour dough bread. It is the perfect size to allow my bread to double in size overnight (sometimes it grows a little over the top of the bowl).

This glass bowl makes a great dough bowl. It's easy to clean, allows you to see air bubbles forming as the dough rises, and is heavy enough that it stay on the counter as you pull the dough up (for stretch and folds when working with sourdough).. It holds enough dough for 2 to 3 standard sized loaves.

This is a bargain as many glassware items are here. I also bought a plastic plate that fits on top for very cheap. The price is unbelievable for such quality, I am not sure what more someone would ever want in a bowl like this, it is very big and perfect for mixing bread or tossing salads. Definitely look no further. I am not compensated for reviews, I want people to choose well, and I will also warn against products to stay away from as well. This is not thin, heavy duty would be the keyword.

I looked for this item in the store and they didn't have it. i forgot about it for a few weeks, then ordered on my Walmart app. I thought it was being shipoed and much to my surprise, a Walmart delivery person brought it to me the same day!!! I love the bowl, the price and the ease of receiving it! It is working perfectly for what I intended to use it for!!

Excellent bowl! It is the perfect size for mixing bowl, serving food, displaying fruit, possibilities are endless. The bowl is thick glass, so sturdy, it has weight to it and will stay in place on counter when using. The price of the bowl was a steal. $7 for a quality mixing bowl, sure!! I'll take 2! Very pleased with purchase. Will get much use.

This Glass Bowl looks great on the table or in the mixing up stuff area! After getting it, the only thing I wish I had checked on was whether it came with a snap on lid - which it did not. That would be a nice feature. It weathered the dishwasher wonderfully and as for use, it's great for leafy greens as well as on the party food table with chips.
