I initially bought this to add flavoring to the ninja creami ice cream base without adding extra sugar and to cover the artificial taste of vanilla protein powder. Now I use it for other things like adding it to applesauce for the homemade taste, sprinkled over coffee grounds before brewing. It's just the perfect blend without any one spice overpowering the other
instead of using all of the needed ingredients for the pumpkin pies we improvised and used this instead bc they were out of pumpkin pie seasoning and i dis not want to splurge for aĺl of the individual seasoning and spices. so this woeked just as well.
I used this to add a little flavor twist to my tea. I add a spoon full of apple sauce and the apple pie spice and it's delicious. I think it would be good in an actual apple pie too. I also do this with my pumpkin pie spice but no added pumpkin. I'm always looking for ways to ad variety.
Apple pie spice is the cozy, warm hug of fall in a jar! This magical blend—smells like a crisp autumn day and tastes like your grandma's best pie. Sprinkle it in your apple pie (obviously), but don't stop there! It's a game-changer in oatmeal, coffee, or even roasted sweet potatoes, adding a sweet-spicy depth that screams “sweater weather.” The cinnamon leads the charge with its bold warmth, while nutmeg and allspice sneak in a subtle, earthy kick. It's versatile, nostalgic, and basically the pumpkin spice latte's less basic cousin. 10/10, would dust on everything!
The combination of spices in this product is just right for apple, peach, or most fruit pies. Cinnamon by itself, lacks the full depth of flavor to enrich your homemade pie filling. The addition of nutmeg and allspice does the trick. Be sparing in your use of it.
I have never been a fan of oatmeal, now I am a spokesperson for the stuff! It must be the easiest, healthiest, filling breakfast I can think of. Not to mention it is not expensive! I once a week cook 4 cups of water with 2 cups of Great Value Oatmeal. I heat it up, stir it for a bit, turn the heat off or down to my lowest setting, cover and let the oatmeal cook/hydrate. I put my cooked oatmeal in a see-through round container and store in the frig. When I want a bowl, I may add some GV Apple Pie Spice (really good), maybe some chocolate chips or any fresh or frozen fruits. Not being a fan of the traditional sweets, I often add some cheddar or Great Value Easy Melt, butter. salt %26 pepper, maybe dice up a Great Value precooked sausage patty and again a little cheese. You cannot hardly go wrong with your added ingredients. Good as a quick breakfast or easy dinner (sauté ground beef %26 pork then add mushrooms, green peppers, and onion with a dash of Great Value Low Sodium Soy Sauce...add a cooked egg and you have "Red Neck Poke Bowl"!!
Perfect blend for baking This apple pie spice is amazing. It has the perfect mix of warm cinnamon and spices without being too strong. I've used it in pies, oatmeal, french toast, and even in my coffee — it makes everything taste like fall. A little goes a long way, and the flavor is super consistent. Definitely a staple in my kitchen now.
The Great Value brands are very affordable and the ingredients are always comparable to the name brands. The flavor is very good. It made delish cooked apples for oatmeal.
only get this if you want slightly cheaper nutmeg, cause you're gonna need to bring your own cinnamon and allspice, all you can taste and smell out of it is the nutmeg.
Worst blend of this I have ever tried. Threw it away after opening! Spices not a distinct flavor! Like they were old. I love this on my yogurt and cottage cheese but I will not use your store brand again! From now on I will use another brand lick McComack
