I looked into vitamins that help with neuropathy and Alpha Lipoic Acid came up. So I decided to try it in combination with vitamin B12. I'm so glad I did because although I have only been using it for a short time, it works! The other unexpected benefit was how my eating habits changed. ALA takes sugars and changes them into energy. Since I started taking it, I have zero desire for any crappy carbs. None whatsoever. I used to make a big pancake almost nightly (the 10 lb mixture from Sam's). I have zero desire to eat one anymore. I recommend this product if you need to lower your sugar levels or have neuropathy.

I have neuropathy and need to take more than the average dose. I was going to have to take more capsules than expected as the 600 mg was for three capsules. I would have needed to take 6. The taste is not that good and you need to drink a lot of water. It makes your urine smell too.

After a bit of research, R-Alpha Lipoic Acid is highly recommended and seemed to work better for me.
