While it good for absorbing odors in your refrigerator, it's great for baking too. A%26H has much more (and consistant) kick to it; causing cookies and other baked goods to rise better than the bargain brands. And it makes baking powder that is much more potent than store bought (1 part baking soda and 2 parts cream of tartar). To be honest it's not that much more expensive that the bargain brands.

I have been using this product for years now. It does everything From cleaning. Cooking and baking . I also use it to brush my teeth . I buy it in the larger size so I don't run out of it. Arm and hammer baking soda is a must have in your home at all times. I have one box in the kitchen one box in the laundry room and one box in my bathroom . I bought this to use to clean some rust off some old tools, along with vinegar. It worked great and got most of the rust off the tools when applied as a paste to them. A much cheaper alternative to the more expensive options for getting rust off tools. Would recommend this to anyone who needs to use it get rust off old tools.

Works great for baking.The cardboard box can be a problem as it can not get wet and absorb liquid in to the bottom of t e box. I am allergic to tooth paste so my dentist has me brush my teeth with a tiny bit of baking soda. But you must be careful too much can upset your bodies acid-base balance. Be sure to spit out t e baking soda.

I paid more for this Arm %26 Hammer brand baking soda because the box seams usually leak out soda on the cheaper brands. I was disappointed when the Arm %26 Hammer boxes also leaked. I don't like the gritty mess. So…once again I had to tape the bottom seams to keep the soda from leaking out on my shelves. What a bummer! I find no difference in the quality of the actual product among either brand.
