I'm genuinely surprised that this product is this good. It was easy to install, and the resistance bands, handles and ankle straps are comfortable and high quality. I looked at many other door strap systems and they were significantly more expensive and since I had never used one before I went with this less expensive system, not expecting much, and honestly it's been great. Really exceeded my expectations!
The product is a must add to any home gym. It is durable, easily assembled, and works multiple of muscles to fine tune the growth of muscles, with coordination, balance aand strength. It is excellent to improve muscle weakness and restore an injuried muscles consult your physician first for restoring abilities. s.
I've bought bands like this before around the same price. They were total crap. These ones are actually really good quality and you dont feel like theyre going go break and smack you in the face. I would definitely recommend this product and I normally dont bother writing reviews. Hope this helps.
I am recovering from a humerus fracture and this is better than the pulleys I use at my physical therapist appointments. I am really glad I spent a little more to get one that I can use for so many exercises. The pulley handles are very comfortable and easily adjustable. I also like that it came with extra loops on it and a resistance band that can be used in the extra loops. It was easy for my tall son to install it on my closet door. You might need a step stool for installation if you are short. Seems sturdy and the pulleys move easily. Very happy with this purchase.
Pros: Two reenforced areas to keep the strap from slipping. Super easy to attach or move as needed. Compact if needed for travel. Nine (in other room and I just sat down) I think sections to attach tubes or straps - Just received but feels very sturdy and secure! I have tried various exercises and so far really love it - planning on getting another one for the opposite side of door for more options to secure and increase resistance. Cons: None so far - shipping takes a little while but well worth it so not really a con. Bought this to help continue cardiac rehab at home . Hope you enjoy yours - To Your Health %26 Happiness
I've been using resistance bands in PT but trying to use them home was laughable. I was walking around the house trying to find things to tie them off to. I can't attest to the usability of the bands this set comes with (as I have been using the bands my physical therapist provided) but the setup is great. I was concerned about it pulling away from the door and it does a little but it doesn't affect my exercises at all. I just adjust where I'm standing to get what I need. I'm looking forward to using this for lots of other strengthening routines once my shoulder is completely healed. It's low profile and isn't that noticeable on my garage entry door except for when I leave all the colorful bands hanging from it. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to actually do the stretches/workouts that pt expects you to do at home.
it was difficult to keep straight as I was putting it around the top of the door it has 5 places to attach the bands but unless you have 8ft doors you can one use 3 or 4 of them the other would be on the other side of the door but 4 works for me shorter bands would be better but I attached both ends to the handle after putting it through the loop, that helps overall I think it was worth the price
This arm pulley exercise equipment seems to be a good value for the price. I looks like it will do the job. BUT -- it isn't the easiest to install (directions are minimal) especially for a short %26 older person. I am a VERY handy person (do most of my own home repairs and have my own home workshop) and I'm great with directions (written %26 illustrated). The directions for installation and use were minimal and not very clear (written or illustrated). The pulley cords are VERY long for use on a normal-sized door and a person with average length arms. The cords will require shortening %26 cutting for use (NO directions for this possibility) and I don't want to ruin them by. doing it incorrectly. I haven't been able to do my PT exercises at home yet because I need to make an alteration, I'm going to bring it to my PT %26 ask for their advice before I consider returning it. I hope I can keep this. I like the comfortable foam rubber-covered handles. The pulley seems to work smoothly. My husband will use this, too, and it appears to be adjustable for both of us to use.
While on any door the strap slips through the metal buckle clamp once you start exercising and apply pulling weight on the strap itself using the latex resistance band or the pulley exercise rope design. So the strap gets loose very quickly. But I applied a remedy for that by clamping a pair of small vise-grips on the strap behind the buckle to prevent further slippage. So the vise-grips acts like a second clamp along with the metal buckle clamp. Anyway, besides that little issue of having to do that to make sure the strap stays secured to the door and not get loose, otherwise it does work right for exercise or physical therapy as seen in the pictures and as described. They just need to fix that metal buckle clamp to keep the strap from slipping through when someone is pulling on the strap for exercise. Suggestions - Maybe design another single metal buckle that has two separate clamping positions that you can clamp down on the strap with? Or use spiked metal material for the buckle's metal clamping surface material, instead of the knurled clamping metal material it has now? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This company says they will reply to emails. Senior lady living alone needed guidance setting this up on my door. Sent two emails. No reply. This is not easy to set up.
