I have a AT%26T prepaid cell phone without a plan. The plan I have is very old and AT%26T doesn't offer it. Having a prepaid cell phone saves me money because my landline phone is my main phone I use. My cell phone is for emergencies and when I leave home. Purchasing a AT%26T Prepaid $100 card is good for 12 months and I can add more minutes during the time period.
My wife and I, still have a landline phone. We are like the bald guy that received a new comb as a gift. He said "I'll never part with it. " We use our cell phones very little. Primarily for a few calls to each other when we are out and a few text. Then a bit more when we travel. Our cost is only $100.00 per year, per phone. Our 35 cent per minute call time is a bit high, but for less than $100.00 a year, it still works out to be a good deal. If one relies on their cell phone for everything, this deal would not work for you. If you are like us, you might want to check out pre-paid cell phones. We use AT%26T but there are others out there. On AT%26T, a $100.00 refill is good for 12 months. If you refill it before that expiration date, any remaining balance rolls over and is added to that new refill amount. At times, we have built up balances of over $500.00. As long as one refills the phone by the expiration date, you never loose it. One can purchase a nice cell phone at Walmart for little cost, that will work with your prepaid carrier. We recently purchased 2 new AT%26T Samsung Galaxy A15 (5G) phones, for $70.00 each. We have used this prepaid plan for 20, plus years and just purchased our 4th pair of phones. By the way, I hate talking on a cell phone. Give me a good quality landline any day. Also, There are no distracted drivers, talking on a land line.
I always buy prepaid cards on Walmart. I never had any issues. The pin usually takes a few minutes to be added on my phone number account. I recently purchaed 3 of these cards for my $300 year plan, and Everything was perfect. I highly Recommend
An easy way to pay my AT%26T prepaid service and to gift service to my friends and family members too!
Prepaid is an excellent deal. You'll save much more than you would compared to traditional postpaid service, with the exact same coverage and high speeds.
