I tried every thing to get cellular data for my Samsung Tracfone. First, I contacted my wifi provider, and after I decided on a plan and Optimum told me my phone wasn't compatible with the plan and wanted to sell me a new phone. Second, I contacted Tracfone again, and their app doesn't work. So I decided to buy a card from Walmart. This was scary because I didn't know how this would work. So, I purchased the card with the most cellular data, which is 20 GB. Wal-Mart emailed the confirmation to me with the link to add the data to my phone. I gave them the card number, and the data I needed was added to my phone. Tracfone's site doesn't work, and it still shows I have 0 data, but in another area, it shows I have 20GB of data.

Who likes the phone company anyway? . This comment comes from a army signal corp control room tech phone and teletype retired. Id rather have the old land lines. Technology is supposed to make life easier not make you frustrated .Phone companies can be real good at that. But yeah!! But Walmart made it real easy for me today by automatically installing it for me. Walmart is the winner cause it helps me be the winner. Feels good to not have to pull my hair out. Thanks Walmart workers and online people. I'll be glad for Walmart to do this every month.

First, over the last year, Tracfone has given drastically more Gigabytes for slightly less money, and has extended Hotspot support to lower-cost plans, hurrah. In the traditional method, Walmart emails you a 15-digit service pin, which you must inform Tracfone of, in one of several ways, to claim your credit. I've used texting, but this is dicey. Tracfone tells you to wait 5 minutes then reboot your phone, but the credit is even slower. There's also the leftover warning that you've agreed the current topping-up will nuke all your existing credits. (No one would agree, they no longer ask, and they do no such thing.) (I go into such detail because I see that Tracfone people read these reviews and perhaps can fix the problems.) In the new method, you just give your Tracfone phone number, Walmart and Tracfone make it happen, and it's immediate. Excellent! Service cards here are subject to a state telecom tax; they are a rare case where the price of the product is not the price you pay. There's another $1 charge, not applied to service cards bought in the store, which is poorly explained.

The tracfone prepaid minutes went on to my phone right away I think before I signed out great, awesome and other great words love it. Have a nice day.

I love the fact that I dont have to go to the store and purchase it. All I do is purchase it on line and request the pin number be sent to me via email and within a few minutes I have it!!!!

It is great to be able to purchase online with klarna and it goes directly onto my phone. It was fast and so easy.

Personally, I really like Tracfone, been with for 7 years %26 haven't had issues. Now there basically Verizon 5G coverage %26 etc...

i purchased a phone also to use the card on. the order for the phone was canceled. so now i have a card worth nothing to me , beings now my money tied up in Walmart for up to ten days
