Ball Glass Mason Jar w/ Lid & Band, Regular Mouth, 8 Ounces, 12 Count

I've been a jam maker for more than 30 years and have given my products to two different NPOs. For the current NPO, I've donated over 12,000 jars comprised of 32 different flavors during the past five years. I've tried other jar maker's products but continue to come back to Ball jars time after time primarily because of their sealing capability even when using recycled lids. Since all of the costs for making jam are from my own pocket, I try to save money whenever I can. Now that I'm buying my Ball jars @ Walmart.com vs. the retail store I'm saving about $4/case which adds up over time. I make a great deal of jam every year and I always use Ball glass mason jars, and always have. I'm 73 and would use no other brand! Ball jars hold up year after year! Thank you for having a great prIce, Walmart and Thank You Ball for having a great product!

I had ordered a similar item on Amazon but was not sure of the quality I would receive. Walmart's price was competitive, I could get the item instantly, and I trusted the quality of the name brand that was available. I cancelled my Amazon order and happily supported my local Walmart!

I love these jars, great for jellies, relish, ect.. I can all year around so I keep them in stock, so I will have when I need. Last year, a lot of the jars broke when canning, but after complaining to the company (others too) This year they seem to be doing much better,

These usually seal when I use them for canning. They also look nice with this classic design. And when they aren't being used for canning, they make great little non-toxic drinking glasses. I love that they are made in the USA, lead free, and so durable.

These jam jars are EXACTLY what I needed and have been looking for. I don’t like the new “quilted” jar pattern and prefer the vintage jars with a berry pattern on the glass. It was difficult to see the jar pattern from the item photo so I was thrilled when these arrived and that’s what I received! My order was shipped immediately and arrived in 2 days. Everything was packed securely and they arrived undamaged. I couldn’t be happier and will be purchasing another case.

I would give the ball jars 5 stars but the price is constantly going up. Other than that they are great jars for canning. I wish they would sell these in bulk to make them more affordable. I usually almost always get a good seal. I make beans, meat, jellies etc...

The quality of the mason jars is fine. I just find it extremely awkward that they would use regular steel for the lids and the seals. After the first washing all done by hand and the drying eight of the lids have rust on the inside, which I scrubbed off with a pad. Guess you need to hand dry these things the second water hits them.

ALL MY JARS CAME TO ME BROKEN. THE CARRIER SAID SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND I REFUSED TO ACCEPT THEM THAT WAY SO SHE TOOK THEM BACK. I CANT BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED! REFUND ME BACK MY MONEY

The lids wouldn’t separate from the band, Horrible time trying to finger tighten the band, Lids after 10 minutes of boiling bath wouldn’t seal. 13 pints %26 $40.00 worth of tomatoes later. Had to refrigerate product, Have 2 weeks of salsa to eat up..
