Barley Flour, 1 Pound — Raw, Vegan, Kosher — by Food to Live

I use it for my husband, a kidney patient, who cannot have any other flours. I would like to have it a bit finer grind so I can make light cakes.

Too small for price (roast)

Our local WalMart store locations do not carry barley flour. Neighbors and then a store associate suggested I order it online. Thank you, my family and I were DELIGHTED with the bread I baked using this barley flour. The recipe suggested measuring out using standard cup and to also weigh it on a kitchen scale. Barley flour packs differently than all purpose wheat flour. The package was well sealed and arrived as promised on time. Thank you very much.

This is a healthful, delicious product. Makes wonderful pancakes. Can be substituted for a portion of all purpose flour when baking.

I use this Barley flour with multi-grain flour to make Roti. After trying out many I have found this brand to be the best for my purpose.

It served my purpose. What I had in mind was using barley flour instead of wheat flour to make pizza. Barley has a much lower glycemic index than other grains. At worst I am only a prediabetic and much of the time not even that. But temporary blood sugar spikes promote cardiovascular disease.
