Black cocoa powder is not easy to find. I was so happy to see that I could order this product through Walmart. Bought for baking as I have a few recipes that call for black cocoa powder- it makes all the difference when the recipe calls for it specifically instead of using regular unsweetened or Dutch processed.

Although the recommendations on the bag are for baking, I ordered it to use for hot chocolate. It made a very delicious and decadent cup of hot chocolate.

you need to know how to bake to use this. you end with an Oreo cookie type chocolate flavor. exact type of chocolate I was looking for. this type of cocoa can be very dry. Depending on the recipe, you might want a practice run.
