I use my 36"" as much as possible but with the wet and cold weather I had to get a smaller one, the 22"" with stand, that I can use in the garage. Griddle stores nicely on the shelf and stand hangs on a hook. Love it
We are very pleased with our new 22" Blackstone griddle. We used it last weekend along with 3 other Blackstone's to cook for 21 campers. We made a breakfast buffet including bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, eggs, scrapple, hash browns, and toast. We also cooked Cheese Steaks with onions and peppers for dinner. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend this griddle.
Love our new griddle! It’s exactly what we were expecting. I will say the handle for the hood was a little difficult to attach, almost like the holes weren’t wide enough. And I didn’t expect it to be so heavy. This will primarily be used while traveling and camping, so I would have gone with the 17” had I known how heavy it would be. (Yes, I checked the weight specs ahead of time. But I feel like it’s heavier)
This is a perfect griddle. This has been our go to for cooking breakfast/burgers. We bought it a little over a month ago and have used it to make breakfast just about every weekend. It cooks great. Has two burners. Easy to use for even someone like me(don't enjoy cooking) and you don't have multiple pots and pans to clean. Highly recommend it!
For years I have been a Grill kind of guy but needed something more versatile while building my new cabin that is off the grid. Wow, was I surprised by how well this griddle works. Eggs, bacon, chicken, venison, tacos, burgers .. All in one week-end. My next grill for my home is going to be a Blackstone Griddle. It's amazing!
We purchased this as a gift for our son in Texas. I did let you know that Fed Ex did not handle it well and the packaging was damaged. Our son did not want to complain, but the grill itself was bent in back. Apparently it doesn’t affect using the grill. It is unfortunate they had to deal with it, since it was a gift. Otherwise they enjoy the grill. We also have one just like it.
The griddle is fantastic! Very even heating. The "H" burners are the best! The griddle gets very hot and I often set to lowest temp setting for cooking. I wish that the grease collector pan fit a little better. Some grease seems to miss the foil tray and drips outside of the pan. A little messy. The stand has a nice feature with the shelf that attaches and removes easily. Very sturdy. However, the leg adjustments are poor. The tubing kinks when screwing in the stops. This makes it more difficult to use and make the griddle level, especially on uneven surfaces like camping. The griddle must be level to perform properly. In my opinion, if the legs had quick-snap levers like those found on many camera tripods that it would be a far superior method of adjustment and securing the legs on the stand. Quick, easy, and secure with infinite adjustability. Also, it would be a plus for me if the griddle cover had latches for travel to keep the lid closed and heat insulated carry handles to assist in transport. Overall, the griddle is an excellent product!!
Feel like a diner cook! Cook all at once. No cold food waiting. No pots or pans to wash!! I added iridium magnet hooks for a place to hang utensils. I also added magnetic steel tool shelves for the spices and oil and water to be kept neatly and out of the way. I only gave 4/5 because the igniter absolutely sucks. Never ignites and always have to use a separate lighter. Tip: season your griddle in your BBQ if it fits. Quicker and more consistent heat. This way you get the even black professional look. Used flaxseed oil as it has the strongest hardening properties.
Great price for a great griddle. The griddle, stand, and cover bought separately will run over $500. Bought it for use with our RV and it's easy and fun to use. We bought an adapter on amazon to connect the propane to our low pressure quick connect trailer propane. Really happy so far!!
I don’t know if it’s supposed to be this way but the flat top Isn’t flat. My “flat top” has a crown in the Center which makes everything move to the outer edges. This makes it hard to scrape the griddle because only part of the scrapper is actually touching the griddle.
